This is a collection of just a few encouraging Bible readings. They might be considered short stories. The Bible can be thought of in that way: A collection of short stories that join and intertwine to create one bigger story. Those short stories are what we remember though, and those memories in turn work together to create the brush strokes on our mind which reveal the picture of "truth" our Creator had recorded for us in the Bible. The Bible contains many such short dramas, highlighting individuals who were loved by God, and who used their free will to choose to become friends of our Father. (Joshua 24:15; Deuteronomy 30:19) They demonstrated their friendship by their obedience to him. (1 John 5:3) There are accounts of others who were also loved by God, but who abused that same gift of freedom to make themselves over as enemies of God. (Deuteronomy 32:4-5) Be it Rahab, David, Abraham, Daniel, Deborah, Tamar, or any of the many other faithful men and women who encourage faith by their example: They all had one thing in common. (Hebrews 11:8-12:3) What ever bravery or other characteristic they displayed, the thing they shared which was first and most important to each, was an absolute and unwavering faith in their Creator. They all had faith Jehovah was good, and was a rewarder of those who are loyal to him. (Hebrews 11:6) May we all manifest such faith! (Hebrews 10:38-39) Regular Bible reading can help you develop that faith. Please read what is presented below*1 if it is your first visit; before you start to consider these scriptures.

1* This web site is intended to encourage and assist with Bible study. This page is where most additions will be made to the site. Familiarity with the rest of the site is important, and the entire site is being updated regularly. The Bible studies here presented are ones that are interesting and encouraging to us, and we hope they will be to you. There is nothing special about these studies as to their order or significance. It is obvious that study of the Bible leads to familiarity with the Bible. Reading the Bible once is not a serious study, nor will it give you familiarity with it. You should be immersed in it. If you choose to expend your life's energy to make Bible study foremost, stories like these will become important to you, and familiarity will give you the ability to share them with others. That is from where your happiness will come. (Acts 20:35) In your study, first try to understand when and to whom the Bible book you are reading was written, and then read it several times. That familiarity will allow you to gain the insight our Father intended when he inspired it for us. Remember, God himself calls knowledge of the Bible the "sword of the spirit." (Ephesians 6:17) By being familiar with the Bible, you will be able to overturn reasonings and every lofty thing lifted up against the knowledge of God. You will be able to bring every thought into captivity to make it obedient to the Christ. (2 Corinthians 10:4-5) You will place yourself on the side that can never loose, because it is right. God is good, and He has the power to make it so. (Revelation 4:8 ; Revelation 4:11 ; Deuteronomy 32:3-4) It is not that you join the war, you were born in it. (Ephesians 6:12) Satan is trying his best to destroy you. (1 Peter 5:8) Ignorance is no protection, but truth (knowledge of God) is. The whole purpose of this site is to encourage you to read your own Bible. This site can help, but it is no substitute for reading your own Bible. Since God had his personal name recorded over six thousand times in the original Bible languages, it might be wise to choose a Bible translation that did not remove his name. It might also be good to pick one written in your own language as it exists today. Pick out your own Bible stories and read them several times. The Gospel accounts are certainly be a good place to start. Remember though, don't let men [no matter what grandiose titles they might hold] make up rules for you regarding your faith; And that includes us. Make any who want to help you prove everything they say comes from the Bible. Learn for yourself what the Bible says!
