1 John 5:13-15 CEV
(13) All of you have faith in the Son of God, and I have written to let you know that you have eternal life.
(14) We are certain that God will hear our prayers when we ask for what pleases him.
(15) And if we know that God listens when we pray, we are sure that our prayers have already been answered.

(14) And we are certain that if we make any request to him which is right in his eyes, he will give ear to us:

13 I write you these things that you may know that you have life everlasting, you who put your faith in the name of the Son of God. 14 And this is the confidence that we have toward him, that, no matter what it is that we ask according to his will, he hears us. 15 Further, if we know he hears us respecting whatever we are asking, we know we are to have the things asked since we have asked them of him.
