1 Timothy 1:12-18 CEV
(12) I thank Christ Jesus our Lord. He has given me the strength for my work because he knew that he could trust me. (13) I used to say terrible and insulting things about him, and I was cruel. But he had mercy on me because I didn't know what I was doing, and I had not yet put my faith in him. (14) Christ Jesus our Lord was very kind to me. He has greatly blessed my life with faith and love just like his own. (15) "Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners." This saying is true, and it can be trusted. I was the worst sinner of all! (16) But since I was worse than anyone else, God had mercy on me and let me be an example of the endless patience of Christ Jesus. He did this so that others would put their faith in Christ and have eternal life. (17) I pray that honor and glory will always be given to the only God, who lives forever and is the invisible and eternal King! Amen. (18) Timothy, my son, the instructions I am giving you are based on what some prophets once said about you. If you follow these instructions, you will fight like a good soldier.

1 Timothy 1:12-18 GNB
(12) I give thanks to Christ Jesus our Lord, who has given me strength for my work. I thank him for considering me worthy and appointing me to serve him, (13) even though in the past I spoke evil of him and persecuted and insulted him. But God was merciful to me because I did not yet have faith and so did not know what I was doing. (14) And our Lord poured out his abundant grace on me and gave me the faith and love which are ours in union with Christ Jesus. (15) This is a true saying, to be completely accepted and believed: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners. I am the worst of them, (16) but God was merciful to me in order that Christ Jesus might show his full patience in dealing with me, the worst of sinners, as an example for all those who would later believe in him and receive eternal life. (17) To the eternal King, immortal and invisible, the only God---to him be honor and glory forever and ever! Amen. (18) Timothy, my child, I entrust to you this command, which is in accordance with the words of prophecy spoken in the past about you. Use those words as weapons in order to fight well,

1 Timothy 1:12-18 ALT
(12) And I give thanks to the One having empowered me—Christ Jesus our Lord—that He considered me faithful, having put [me] into the ministry, (13) the one formerly being a blasphemer and a persecutor and an insolent person, but I was shown mercy, because failing to understand, I did [it] in unbelief, (14) but the grace of our Lord overflowed with faith and love, the [grace which is] in Christ Jesus. (15) Trustworthy [is] the word and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am first [fig., the foremost of all]. (16) But for this reason I was shown mercy, so that in me first [fig., as the foremost of all] Jesus Christ should demonstrate all His patience, as a pattern for the ones about to be believing on [or, trusting in] Him to life eternal. (17) Now to the King of the ages [fig., the King eternal], immortal, invisible, [the] only wise God, [be] honor and glory into the ages of the ages [fig., forever and ever]! So be it! (18) This command I entrust to you, [my] child Timothy, according to the previously made prophesies concerning you, so that in them you war the good warfare [fig., struggle against evil forces],

1 Timothy 1:12-18 NWT
12 I am grateful to Christ Jesus our Lord, who imparted power to me, because he considered me faithful by assigning me to a ministry, 13 although formerly I was a blasphemer and a persecutor and an insolent man. Nevertheless, I was shown mercy, because I was ignorant and acted with a lack of faith. 14 But the undeserved kindness of our Lord abounded exceedingly along with faith and love that is in connection with Christ Jesus. 15 Faithful and deserving of full acceptance is the saying that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners. Of these I am foremost. 16 Nevertheless, the reason why I was shown mercy was that by means of me as the foremost case Christ Jesus might demonstrate all his long-suffering for a sample of those who are going to rest their faith on him for everlasting life. 17 Now to the King of eternity, incorruptible, invisible, [the] only God, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen. 18 This mandate I commit to you, child, Timothy, in accord with the predictions that led directly on to you, that by these you may go on waging the fine warfare;

You will note the reference windows often include more than one translation of the Bible. The reason is to strive to gain the best possible understanding of the original Hebrew and Greek. Since we don't speak those languages, we rely on those who have come before and made the effort to translate those texts into English for us. Considering several translations gives the benefit of the understanding of several translation committees or individuals.
