2 Thessalonians 1:6-12 GNB
(6) God will do what is right: he will bring suffering on those who make you suffer, (7) and he will give relief to you who suffer and to us as well. He will do this when the Lord Jesus appears from heaven with his mighty angels, (8) with a flaming fire, to punish those who reject God and who do not obey the Good News about our Lord Jesus. (9) They will suffer the punishment of eternal destruction, separated from the presence of the Lord and from his glorious might, (10) when he comes on that Day to receive glory from all his people and honor from all who believe. You too will be among them, because you have believed the message that we told you. (11) That is why we always pray for you. We ask our God to make you worthy of the life he has called you to live. May he fulfill by his power all your desire for goodness and complete your work of faith. (12) In this way the name of our Lord Jesus will receive glory from you, and you from him, by the grace of our God and of the Lord Jesus Christ.

2 Thessalonians 1:6-12 BBE
(6) For it is an act of righteousness on God's part to give trouble as their reward to those who are troubling you, (7) And to you who are troubled, rest with us, when the Lord Jesus comes from heaven with the angels of his power in flames of fire, (8) To give punishment to those who have no knowledge of God, and to those who do not give ear to the good news of our Lord Jesus: (9) Whose reward will be eternal destruction from the face of the Lord and from the glory of his strength, (10) At his coming, when he will have glory in his saints, and will be a cause of wonder in all those who had faith because our witness among you had effect in that day. (11) For this reason, you are ever in our prayers, that you may seem to our God such as may have a part in his purpose and that by his power he will make all his good purpose, and the work of faith, complete; (12) So that glory may be given to the name of our Lord Jesus through you, and you may have glory in him, by the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.

2 Thessalonians 1:6-12 CEV
(6) It is only right for God to punish everyone who is causing you trouble, (7) but he will give you relief from your troubles. He will do the same for us, when the Lord Jesus comes from heaven with his powerful angels (8) and with a flaming fire. Our Lord Jesus will punish anyone who doesn't know God and won't obey his message. (9) Their punishment will be eternal destruction, and they will be kept far from the presence of our Lord and his glorious strength. (10) This will happen on that day when the Lord returns to be praised and honored by all who have faith in him and belong to him. This includes you, because you believed what we said. (11) God chose you, and we keep praying that God will make you worthy of being his people. We pray for God's power to help you do all the good things that you hope to do and that your faith makes you want to do. (12) Then, because God and our Lord Jesus Christ are so kind, you will bring honor to the name of our Lord Jesus, and he will bring honor to you.

2 Thessalonians 1:6-12 NWT
6 This takes into account that it is righteous on God's part to repay tribulation to those who make tribulation for you, 7 but, to you who suffer tribulation, relief along with us at the revelation of the Lord Jesus from heaven with his powerful angels 8 in a flaming fire, as he brings vengeance upon those who do not know God and those who do not obey the good news about our Lord Jesus. 9 These very ones will undergo the judicial punishment of everlasting destruction from before the Lord and from the glory of his strength, 10 at the time he comes to be glorified in connection with his holy ones and to be regarded in that day with wonder in connection with all those who exercised faith, because the witness we gave met with faith among you. 11 To that very end indeed we always pray for you, that our God may count you worthy of [his] calling and perform completely all he pleases of goodness and the work of faith with power; 12 in order that the name of our Lord Jesus may be glorified in you, and you in union with him, in accord with the undeserved kindness of our God and of the Lord Jesus Christ.

You will note the reference windows often include more than one translation of the Bible. The reason is to strive to gain the best possible understanding of the original Hebrew and Greek. Since we don't speak those languages, we rely on those who have come before and made the effort to translate those texts into English for us. Considering several translations gives the benefit of the understanding of several translation committees or individuals.
