Ecclesiastes 12:11-12 CEV
(11) Words of wisdom are like the stick a farmer uses to make animals move. These sayings come from God, our only shepherd, and they are like nails that fasten things together. (12) My child, I warn you to stay away from any teachings except these. There is no end to books, and too much study will wear you out.

Ecclesiastes 12:11-12 NWT
11 The words of the wise ones are like oxgoads, and just like nails driven in are those indulging in collections [of sentences]; they have been given from one shepherd. 12 As regards anything besides these, my son, take a warning: To the making of many books there is no end, and much devotion [to them] is wearisome to the flesh.

Ecclesiastes 12:11-12 GNB
(11) The sayings of the wise are like the sharp sticks that shepherds use to guide sheep, and collected proverbs are as lasting as firmly driven nails. They have been given by God, the one Shepherd of us all. (12) My child, there is something else to watch out for. There is no end to the writing of books, and too much study will wear you out.

Ecclesiastes 12:11-12 LITV
(11) The words of the wise are as goads; yea, as nails driven by the masters of collections, they are given from one Shepherd. (12) And more than these, my son, be warned: The making of many books has no end, and much study is the weariness of the flesh.

You will note the reference windows often include more than one translation of the Bible. The reason is to strive to gain the best possible understanding of the original Hebrew and Greek. Since we don't speak those languages, we rely on those who have come before and made the effort to translate those texts into English for us. Considering several translations gives the benefit of the understanding of several translation committees or individuals.
The Translations we quote are:

ALT - Analytical Literal Translation

ASV - American Standard Version (by the American revision committee in 1897).

Darby - 1889 Darby Bible

DRB - 1899 Douay-Rheims Bible

BBE - 1965 Bible in Basic English

LITV - Literal Translation of the Holy Bible

KJV - King James Version

MKJV - Modern King James Version

NWT - New World Translation

Webster - 1833 Webster Bible

RV - Revised Version

YLT - Young's Literal Translation
