Isaiah 37:33-37 LITV
(33) So Jehovah says this to the king of Assyria, He shall not come into this city, nor shoot an arrow there, nor come before it with a shield, nor pour out a siege mound on it.
(34) He shall return by the same way that he came in, and he shall not come into this city, says Jehovah.
(35) For I will defend over this city to save it, for My own sake, and for My servant David's sake.
(36) Then the Angel of Jehovah went out and struck a hundred and eighty five thousand in the camp of Assyria. And they rose early in the morning; and, behold! They were all dead corpses.
(37) And Sennacherib, king of Assyria, set out, and went and returned; and he lived at Nineveh.

33 "'Therefore this is what Jehovah has said concerning the king of Assyria: "He will not come into this city, nor will he shoot an arrow there, nor confront it with a shield, nor cast up a siege rampart against it."' 34 "'By the way by which he came he will return, and into this city he will not come,' is the utterance of Jehovah. 35 'And I shall certainly defend this city to save it for my own sake and for the sake of David my servant.'" 36 And the angel of Jehovah proceeded to go forth and strike down a hundred and eighty five thousand in the camp of the Assyrians. When people rose up early in the morning, why, there all of them were dead carcasses. 37 Hence Sennacherib the king of Assyria pulled away and went and returned and took up dwelling in Nineveh.

(34) By the way that he came, by the same shall he return, and he shall not come unto this city, saith Jehovah.
(35) For I will defend this city to save it, for mine own sake, and for my servant David's sake.
(36) And the angel of Jehovah went forth, and smote in the camp of the Assyrians a hundred and fourscore and five thousand; and when men arose early in the morning, behold, these were all dead bodies.
(37) So Sennacherib king of Assyria departed, and went and returned, and dwelt at Nineveh.

(33) I promise that the king of Assyria won't get into Jerusalem, or shoot an arrow into the city, or even surround it and prepare to attack.
(34) As surely as I am the LORD, he will return by the way he came and will never enter Jerusalem.
(35) I will protect it for the sake of my own honor and because of the promise I made to my servant David.
(36) The LORD sent an angel to the camp of the Assyrians, and he killed one hundred eighty-five thousand of them all in one night. The next morning, the camp was full of dead bodies.
(37) After this, King Sennacherib went back to Assyria and lived in the city of Nineveh.
