(John 15:17-24 BBE)
(17) So this is my law for you: Have love one for another. (18) If you are hated by the world, keep in mind that I was hated by the world before you. (19) If you were of the world, you would be loved by the world: but because you are not of the world, but I have taken you out of the world, you are hated by the world. (20) Keep in mind the words I said to you, A servant is not greater than his lord. If they were cruel to me, they will be cruel to you; if they kept my words, they will keep yours. (21) They will do all this to you because of my name--because they have no knowledge of him who sent me. (22) If I had not come and been their teacher they would have had no sin: but now they have no reason to give for their sin. (23) He who has hate for me has hate for my Father. (24) If I had not done among them the works which no other man ever did, they would have had no sin: but now they have seen, and they have had hate in their hearts for me and my Father.

(John 15:17-24 ALT)
(17) "These things I command you*, so that you* shall be loving one another. (18) "If the world hates you*, you* know that it has hated Me before you*. (19) "If you* were from the world, the world would be affectionately loving its own. But because you* are not from the world, _but_ _I_ chose you* out of the world, for this reason the world hates you*. (20) "Be remembering the word which _I_ said to you*, 'A slave is not greater than his lord.' If they persecuted Me, they will also persecute you*. If My word they kept, yours* also they will keep. (21) "_But_ they will do all these things to you* on account of My name, because they do not know the One having sent Me. (22) "If I did not come and did not speak to them, they would not have sin, but now they have no excuse for their sin. (23) "The one hating Me, also hates My Father. (24) "If I did not do among them the works which no other has done, they would not have sin, but now they have both seen and have hated both Me and My Father.

You will note the reference windows often include more than one translation of the Bible. The reason is to strive to gain the best possible understanding of the original Hebrew and Greek. Since we don't speak those languages, we rely on those who have come before and made the effort to translate those texts into English for us. Considering several translations gives the benefit of the understanding of several translation committees or individuals.
The Translations we quote are:

ALT - Analytical Literal Translation

ASV - American Standard Version (by the American revision committee in 1897).

Darby - 1889 Darby Bible

DRB - 1899 Douay-Rheims Bible

BBE - 1965 Bible in Basic English

LITV - Literal Translation of the Holy Bible

KJV - King James Version

MKJV - Modern King James Version

NWT - New World Translation

Webster - 1833 Webster Bible

RV - Revised Version
