John 16:1-4 BBE
(1) I have said these things to you so that you may not be in doubt. (2) They will put you out of the Synagogues: yes, the time is coming when whoever puts you to death will have the belief that he is doing God's pleasure. (3) They will do these things to you because they have not had knowledge of the Father or of me. (4) I have said these things to you so that when the time comes, what I have said may come to your mind. I did not say them to you at the first, because then I was still with you.

John 16:1-4 ESV
(1) "I have said all these things to you to keep you from falling away. (2) They will put you out of the synagogues. Indeed, the hour is coming when whoever kills you will think he is offering service to God. (3) And they will do these things because they have not known the Father, nor me. (4) But I have said these things to you, that when their hour comes you may remember that I told them to you. "I did not say these things to you from the beginning, because I was with you.

John 16:1-4 Bishops
(1) These thynges haue I sayde vnto you, because ye shoulde not be offended. (2) They shall excomunitate you: yea the time shall come, that who so euer kylleth you, wyll thynke that he doth God seruice. (3) And such thynges wyll they do vnto you, because they haue not knowen the Father, neither yet me. (4) But these thynges haue I tolde you, that when the tyme is come, ye may remeber then that I tolde you. These thynges sayde I not vnto you at the begynnyng, because I was present with you.

John 16:1-4 NWT
. . ."I have spoken these things to YOU that YOU may not be stumbled. 2 Men will expel YOU from the synagogue. In fact, the hour is coming when everyone that kills YOU will imagine he has rendered a sacred service to God. 3 But they will do these things because they have not come to know either the Father or me. 4 Nevertheless, I have spoken these things to YOU that, when the hour for them arrives, YOU may remember I told them to YOU. "These things, however, I did not tell YOU at first, because I was with YOU.

You will note the reference windows often include more than one translation of the Bible. The reason is to strive to gain the best possible understanding of the original Hebrew and Greek. Since we don't speak those languages, we rely on those who have come before and made the effort to translate those texts into English for us. Considering several translations gives the benefit of the understanding of several translation committees or individuals.
The Translations we quote are:

ALT - Analytical Literal Translation

ASV - American Standard Version (by the American revision committee in 1897).

Darby - 1889 Darby Bible

DRB - 1899 Douay-Rheims Bible

BBE - 1965 Bible in Basic English

LITV - Literal Translation of the Holy Bible

KJV - King James Version

MKJV - Modern King James Version

NWT - New World Translation

Webster - 1833 Webster Bible

RV - Revised Version

YLT - Young's Literal Translation
