John 6:28-33 CEV
(28) "What exactly does God want us to do?" the people asked. (29) Jesus answered, "God wants you to have faith in the one he sent." (30) They replied, "What miracle will you work, so that we can have faith in you? What will you do? (31) For example, when our ancestors were in the desert, they were given manna to eat. It happened just as the Scriptures say, 'God gave them bread from heaven to eat.' " (32) Jesus then told them, "I tell you for certain that Moses wasn't the one who gave you bread from heaven. My Father is the one who gives you the true bread from heaven. (33) And the bread that God gives is the one who came down from heaven to give life to the world."

John 6:28-33 ALT
(28) Therefore, they said to Him, "What shall we be doing so that we shall be working the works of God?" (29) Jesus answered and said to them, "This is the work of God, that you* be believing [or, trusting] in Him whom that One sent." (30) So they said to Him, "What sign then do You do so that we shall see and believe You? What are You working? (31) "Our fathers ate the manna in the wilderness, just as it has been written, 'He gave to them bread out of heaven to eat.'" [Exod 16:4; Neh 9:15; Ps 78:24] (32) So Jesus said to them, "Most positively, I say to you*, Moses has not given to you* the bread out of heaven, _but_ My Father gives to you* the true bread out of heaven. (33) "For the bread of God is the One coming down out of heaven and giving life to the world."

John 6:28-33 BBE
(28) Then they said to him, How may we do the works of God? (29) Jesus, answering, said to them, This is to do the work of God: to have faith in him whom God has sent. (30) So they said, What sign do you give us, so that we may see and have faith in you? What do you do? (31) Our fathers had the manna in the waste land, as the Writings say, He gave them bread from heaven. (32) Jesus then said to them, Truly I say to you, What Moses gave you was not the bread from heaven; it is my Father who gives you the true bread from heaven. (33) The bread of God is the bread which comes down out of heaven and gives life to the world.

You will note the reference windows often include more than one translation of the Bible. The reason is to strive to gain the best possible understanding of the original Hebrew and Greek. Since we don't speak those languages, we rely on those who have come before and made the effort to translate those texts into English for us. Considering several translations gives the benefit of the understanding of several translation committees or individuals.
The Translations we quote are:

ALT - Analytical Literal Translation

ASV - American Standard Version (by the American revision committee in 1897).

Darby - 1889 Darby Bible

DRB - 1899 Douay-Rheims Bible

BBE - 1965 Bible in Basic English

LITV - Literal Translation of the Holy Bible

KJV - King James Version

MKJV - Modern King James Version

NWT - New World Translation

Webster - 1833 Webster Bible

RV - Revised Version

YLT - Young's Literal Translation
