John 6:5-11 NWT
5 When, therefore, Jesus raised his eyes and observed that a great crowd was coming to him, he said to Philip: "Where shall we buy loaves for these to eat?" 6 However, he was saying this to test him, for he himself knew what he was about to do. 7 Philip answered him: "Two hundred denarii worth of loaves is not enough for them, so that each one may get a little." 8 One of his disciples, Andrew the brother of Simon Peter, said to him: 9 "Here is a little boy that has five barley loaves and two small fishes. But what are these among so many?" 10 Jesus said: "Have the men recline as at meal." Now there was a lot of grass in the place. Therefore the men reclined, about five thousand in number. 11 So Jesus took the loaves and, after giving thanks, he distributed them to those reclining, likewise also as much of the small fishes as they wanted.

John 6:5-11 GNB
(5) Jesus looked around and saw that a large crowd was coming to him, so he asked Philip, "Where can we buy enough food to feed all these people?" (6) (He said this to test Philip; actually he already knew what he would do.) (7) Philip answered, "For everyone to have even a little, it would take more than two hundred silver coins to buy enough bread." (8) Another one of his disciples, Andrew, who was Simon Peter's brother, said, (9) "There is a boy here who has five loaves of barley bread and two fish. But they will certainly not be enough for all these people." (10) "Make the people sit down," Jesus told them. (There was a lot of grass there.) So all the people sat down; there were about five thousand men. (11) Jesus took the bread, gave thanks to God, and distributed it to the people who were sitting there. He did the same with the fish, and they all had as much as they wanted.

John 6:5-11 CEV
(5) When Jesus saw the large crowd coming toward him, he asked Philip, "Where will we get enough food to feed all these people?" (6) He said this to test Philip, since he already knew what he was going to do. (7) Philip answered, "Don't you know that it would take almost a year's wages just to buy only a little bread for each of these people?" (8) Andrew, the brother of Simon Peter, was one of the disciples. He spoke up and said, (9) "There is a boy here who has five small loaves of barley bread and two fish. But what good is that with all these people?" (10) The ground was covered with grass, and Jesus told his disciples to have everyone sit down. About five thousand men were in the crowd. (11) Jesus took the bread in his hands and gave thanks to God. Then he passed the bread to the people, and he did the same with the fish, until everyone had plenty to eat.

You will note the reference windows often include more than one translation of the Bible. The reason is to strive to gain the best possible understanding of the original Hebrew and Greek. Since we don't speak those languages, we rely on those who have come before and made the effort to translate those texts into English for us. Considering several translations gives the benefit of the understanding of several translation committees or individuals.
The Translations we quote are:
