John 8:1-11 ALT
(1) But Jesus departed to the Mount of Olives.
(2) Then at dawn He came again to the temple, and all the people were coming {to Him}. And having sat down, He began teaching them.
(3) But the scribes and the Pharisees bring to Him a woman having been taken in adultery. And having set her in the middle [of them],
(4) they say to Him, {testing} [Him], "Teacher, we found this [woman] in the very act—committing adultery!
(5) Now in our Law, Moses commanded that such be stoned. Therefore, You, what do You say {about her}?"
(6) But this they said, testing Him, so that they should be having an accusation against Him. But Jesus, having stooped down, began writing into the ground with His finger, not taking notice.
(7) But when they continued asking Him, having straightened Himself back up, He said to them, "The sinless [one] of youp, let him cast the first stone at her."
(8) And again having stooped down, He was writing into the ground.
(9) But they having heard, and by the conscience being convicted, began going out one by one, having begun from the older [ones] {to the last [ones]}. And Jesus was left alone, and the woman being in the midst.
(10) Now Jesus having straightened Himself back up and having seen no one but the woman, said to her, "{Woman}, where are those accusers of yours? Did no one condemn you?"
(11) And she said, "No one, Lord." So Jesus said {to her}, "Neither do I condemn you. Be going, and {from now on} no longer be sinning."

(2) And early in the morning He came again into the temple, and all the people came to Him. And He sat down and taught them.
(3) And the scribes and Pharisees brought to Him a woman taken in adultery. And standing her in the midst,
(4) they said to Him, Teacher, this woman was taken in adultery, in the very act.
(5) Now Moses in the Law commanded us that such should be stoned. You, then, what do you say?
(6) They said this, tempting Him so that they might have reason to accuse Him. But bending down, Jesus wrote on the ground with His finger, not appearing to hear.
(7) But as they continued to ask Him, He lifted Himself up and said to them, He who is without sin among you, let him cast the first stone at her.
(8) And again bending down, He wrote on the ground.
(9) And hearing, and being convicted by conscience, they went out one by one, beginning at the oldest, until the last. And Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst.
(10) And bending back up, and seeing no one but the woman, Jesus said to her, Woman, where are the ones who accused you? Did not one give judgment against you?
(11) And she said, No one, Lord. And Jesus said to her, Neither do I give judgment. Go, and sin no more.

(3) Now the scribes and Pharisees came, with a woman who had been taken in the act of sinning against the married relation;
(4) And putting her forward, they said to him, Master, this woman has been taken in the very act of sinning against the married relation.
(5) Now in the law Moses gave directions that such women were to be stoned; what do you say about it?
(6) They said this, testing him, so that they might have something against him. But Jesus, with his head bent down, made letters on the floor with his finger.
(7) But when they went on with their questions, he got up and said to them, Let him among you who is without sin be the first to send a stone at her.
(8) And again, with bent head, he made letters on the floor.
(9) And when his words came to their ears, they went out one by one, starting with the oldest even to the last, because they were conscious of what was in their hearts: and Jesus was there by himself with the woman before him.
(10) Then Jesus got up, and seeing nobody but the woman, he said to her, Where are the men who said things against you? did no one give a decision against you?
(11) And she said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said, And I do not give a decision against you: go, and never do wrong again.

1 But Jesus went to the Mount of Olives. 2 At daybreak, however, he again presented himself at the temple, and all the people began coming to him, and he sat down and began to teach them. 3 Now the scribes and the Pharisees brought a woman caught in adultery, and, after standing her in their midst, 4 they said to him: "Teacher, this woman has been caught in the act of committing adultery. 5 In the Law Moses prescribed for us to stone such a women. What, really, do you say?" 6 Of course, they were saying this to put him to the test, in order to have something with which to accuse him. But Jesus bent down and began to write with his finger in the ground. 7 When they persisted in asking him, he straightened up and said to them: "Let the one of you that has no sin be the first to throw a stone at her." 8 And bending over again he kept on writing in the ground. 9 But those who heard this began going out, one by one, starting with the older men, and he was left alone, and the woman that was in their midst. 10 Straightening up, Jesus said to her: "Woman, where are they? Did no one condemn you?" 11 She said: "No one, sir." Jesus said: "Neither do I condemn you. Go your way; from now on practice sin no more."
