Luke 22:24-26 BBE
(24) And there was an argument among them about which of them was the greatest. (25) And he said, The kings of the Gentiles are lords over them, and those who have authority are given names of honour. (26) But let it not be so with you; but he who is greater, let him become like the younger; and he who is chief, like a servant.

Luke 22:24-26 ALT
(24) Then a dispute also occurred among them, [as to] which of them seems to be greater. (25) But He said to them, "The kings of the nations [or, the Gentiles] exercise lordship over them, and the ones exercising authority over them are called benefactors. (26) "But you* [shall] not [be acting] in this way, _but_ the greatest among you* must become like the youngest, and the one leading like the one serving.

Luke 22:24-26 NWT
24 However, there also arose a heated dispute among them over which one of them seemed to be greatest. 25 But he said to them: "The kings of the nations lord it over them, and those having authority over them are called Benefactors. 26 You, though, are not to be that way. But let him that is the greatest among you become as the youngest, and the one acting as chief as the one ministering."

Luke 22:24-26 CEV
(24) The apostles got into an argument about which one of them was the greatest. (25) So Jesus told them: Foreign kings order their people around, and powerful rulers call themselves everyone's friends. (26) But don't be like them. The most important one of you should be like the least important, and your leader should be like a servant.

You will note the reference windows often include more than one translation of the Bible. The reason is to strive to gain the best possible understanding of the original Hebrew and Greek. Since we don't speak those languages, we rely on those who have come before and made the effort to translate those texts into English for us. Considering several translations gives the benefit of the understanding of several translation committees or individuals.
The Translations we quote are:

ALT - Analytical Literal Translation

ASV - American Standard Version (by the American revision committee in 1897).

Darby - 1889 Darby Bible

DRB - 1899 Douay-Rheims Bible

BBE - 1965 Bible in Basic English

LITV - Literal Translation of the Holy Bible

KJV - King James Version

MKJV - Modern King James Version

NWT - New World Translation

Webster - 1833 Webster Bible

RV - Revised Version
