Matthew 15:22-28 NWT
22 And, look! a Phoenician woman from those regions came out and cried aloud, saying: "Have mercy on me, Lord, Son of David. My daughter is badly demonized." 23 But he did not say a word in answer to her. So his disciples came up and began to request him: "Send her away; because she keeps crying out after us." 24 In answer he said: "I was not sent forth to any but to the lost sheep of the house of Israel." 25 When the woman came she began doing obeisance to him, saying: "Lord, help me!" 26 In answer he said: "It is not right to take the bread of the children and throw it to little dogs." 27 She said: "Yes, Lord; but really the little dogs do eat of the crumbs falling from the table of their masters." 28 Then Jesus said in reply to her: "O woman, great is your faith; let it happen to you as you wish." And her daughter was healed from that hour on.

Matthew 15:22-28 ALT
(22) And look! A woman, a Canaanite, having come out from those borders, called to Him, saying, "Be merciful to me, Lord, Son of David! My daughter is miserably demon-possessed [or, oppressed by a demon]." (23) But He did not answer her a word. And His disciples having approached Him, were asking Him, saying, "Send her away, because she cries out after us." (24) But answering, He said, "I was not sent except to the sheep, the ones lost from the house of Israel." (25) But having come, she prostrated herself in reverence before Him, saying, "Lord, be helping me!" (26) But answering, He said, "It is not good to take the children's bread and to throw [it] to the little dogs." (27) But she said, "Yes, Lord, for even the little dogs eat from the crumbs, the ones falling from their lord's table." (28) Then answering, Jesus said to her, "O woman, great [is] your faith! Let it happen to you as you desire." And her daughter was healed from that hour.

Matthew 15:22-28 CEV
(22) Suddenly a Canaanite woman from there came out shouting, "Lord and Son of David, have pity on me! My daughter is full of demons." (23) Jesus did not say a word. But the woman kept following along and shouting, so his disciples came up and asked him to send her away. (24) Jesus said, "I was sent only to the people of Israel! They are like a flock of lost sheep." (25) The woman came closer. Then she knelt down and begged, "Please help me, Lord!" (26) Jesus replied, "It isn't right to take food away from children and feed it to dogs." (27) "Lord, that's true," the woman said, "but even dogs get the crumbs that fall from their owner's table." (28) Jesus answered, "Dear woman, you really do have a lot of faith, and you will be given what you want." At that moment her daughter was healed.

You will note the reference windows often include more than one translation of the Bible. The reason is to strive to gain the best possible understanding of the original Hebrew and Greek. Since we don't speak those languages, we rely on those who have come before and made the effort to translate those texts into English for us. Considering several translations gives the benefit of the understanding of several translation committees or individuals.
