Matthew 24:3-14 NWT
3 While he was sitting upon the Mount of Olives, the disciples approached him privately, saying: "Tell us, When will these things be, and what will be the sign of your presence and of the conclusion of the system of things?" 4 And in answer Jesus said to them: "Look out that nobody misleads you; 5 for many will come on the basis of my name, saying, 'I am the Christ,' and will mislead many. 6 You are going to hear of wars and reports of wars; see that you are not terrified. For these things must take place, but the end is not yet. 7 "For nation will rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be food shortages and earthquakes in one place after another. 8 All these things are a beginning of pangs of distress. 9 "Then people will deliver you up to tribulation and will kill you, and you will be objects of hatred by all the nations on account of my name. 10 Then, also, many will be stumbled and will betray one another and will hate one another. 11 And many false prophets will arise and mislead many; 12 and because of the increasing of lawlessness the love of the greater number will cool off. 13 But he that has endured to the end is the one that will be saved. 14 And this good news of the kingdom will be preached in all the inhabited earth for a witness to all the nations; and then the end will come.

(3) Then as He is sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples approached Him privately, saying, "Tell us when these [things] will be? And what [is] the sign of Your Arrival and of the conclusion of the age?" (4) And answering, Jesus said to them, "Be watching lest anyone leads you* astray [fig., deceives you*]. (5) "For many will come in My Name, saying, '_I_ am the Christ'-and they will lead many astray [fig., will deceive many]. (6) "But you* will begin to be hearing of wars and rumors of wars. Take care! Stop being alarmed! For it is necessary [for] all [these things] to take place, _but_ the end is not yet. (7) "For nation will be raised up against nation, and kingdom against kingdom; and [there] will be famines and plagues and earthquakes in [various] places. (8) "But all these [things are the] beginning of birth pains [fig., of great sufferings]. (9) "Then they will deliver you* up to tribulation [or, affliction] and will kill you*, and you* shall be hated by all the nations on account of My name. (10) "And then many will be caused to stumble [fig., will fall away], and they will betray one another and will hate one another. (11) "And many false prophets will be raised up and will lead many astray [fig., will deceive many]. (12) "And because lawlessness will be increased, the love of the many will be made cold. (13) "But the one having endured to [the] end-this one will be saved. (14) "And this Gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed in the whole inhabited earth for a testimony to all the nations, and then the end will come.

Matthew 24:3-14 LITV
(3) And as He was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, Tell us, when will these things be? And, What is the sign of Your coming and of the end of the age? (4) And answering, Jesus said to them, See that not any leads you astray. (5) For many will come in My name, saying, I am the Christ. And they will cause many to be led astray. (6) But you are going to hear of wars and rumors of wars. See, do not be terrified. For all things must take place, but the end is not yet. (7) For nation will be raised against nation, and kingdom against kingdom; and there will be famines and plagues and earthquakes against many places. (8) But all these are a beginning of throes. (9) Then they will deliver you up to affliction, and will kill you, and you will be hated by all nations because of My name. (10) And then many will be offended, and they will deliver up one another and will hate one another. (11) And many false prophets will be raised and will cause many to err. (12) And because lawlessness shall have been multiplied, the love of the many will grow cold. (13) But the one who endures to the end, that one will be kept safe. (14) And this gospel of the Kingdom shall be preached in all the earth for a testimony to all the nations, and then will come the end.

You will note the reference windows often include more than one translation of the Bible. The reason is to strive to gain the best possible understanding of the original Hebrew and Greek. Since we don't speak those languages, we rely on those who have come before and made the effort to translate those texts into English for us. Considering several translations gives the benefit of the understanding of several translation committees or individuals.
The Translations we quote are:
