Matthew 5:1-12 NWT
. . .When he saw the crowds he went up into the mountain; and after he sat down his disciples came to him; 2 and he opened his mouth and began teaching them, saying: 3 "Happy are those conscious of their spiritual need, since the kingdom of the heavens belongs to them. 4 "Happy are those who mourn, since they will be comforted. 5 "Happy are the mild-tempered ones, since they will inherit the earth. 6 "Happy are those hungering and thirsting for righteousness, since they will be filled. 7 "Happy are the merciful, since they will be shown mercy. 8 "Happy are the pure in heart, since they will see God. 9 "Happy are the peaceable, since they will be called 'sons of God.' 10 "Happy are those who have been persecuted for righteousness' sake, since the kingdom of the heavens belongs to them. 11 "Happy are YOU when people reproach YOU and persecute YOU and lyingly say every sort of wicked thing against YOU for my sake. 12 Rejoice and leap for joy, since YOUR reward is great in the heavens; for in that way they persecuted the prophets prior to YOU.

(Matthew 5:1-11 BBE)
(1) And seeing great masses of people he went up into the mountain; and when he was seated his disciples came to him. (2) And with these words he gave them teaching, saying, (3) Happy are the poor in spirit: for the kingdom of heaven is theirs. (4) Happy are those who are sad: for they will be comforted. (5) Happy are the gentle: for the earth will be their heritage. (6) Happy are those whose heart's desire is for righteousness: for they will have their desire. (7) Happy are those who have mercy: for they will be given mercy. (8) Happy are the clean in heart: for they will see God. (9) Happy are the peacemakers: for they will be named sons of God. (10) Happy are those who are attacked on account of righteousness: for the kingdom of heaven will be theirs. (11) Happy are you when men give you a bad name, and are cruel to you, and say all evil things against you falsely, because of me. (12) Be glad and full of joy; for great is your reward in heaven: for so were the prophets attacked who were before you.

You will note the reference windows often include more than one translation of the Bible. The reason is to strive to gain the best possible understanding of the original Hebrew and Greek. Since we don't speak those languages, we rely on those who have come before and made the effort to translate those texts into English for us. Considering several translations gives the benefit of the understanding of several translation committees or individuals.
The Translations we quote are:

ALT - Analytical Literal Translation

ASV - American Standard Version (by the American revision committee in 1897).

Darby - 1889 Darby Bible

DRB - 1899 Douay-Rheims Bible

BBE - 1965 Bible in Basic English

LITV - Literal Translation of the Holy Bible

KJV - King James Version

MKJV - Modern King James Version

NWT - New World Translation

Webster - 1833 Webster Bible

RV - Revised Version
