(Romans 12:1-2 MWT) . . . Dear friends, God is good. So I beg you use your power of reason to transform your body to become a living sacrifice, (John 3:3 of 1-8) pure and pleasing. That's the most sensible way to serve God. (See: John 6:28-29) (2) Don't keep being transformed by the people of this world, but let God change the way you think. (See: John 8:31-32; 2 Cor 4:1-6) Then you will know how to do everything that is good and pleasing to him.

(Romans 12:1-2 ALT) . . . (1) Therefore, I call on [or, plead with] you*, brothers [and sisters], through the compassions of God, to present your* bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God [which is] your* intelligent, sacred service. (See: John 6:28-29) (2) And [you* are] to stop conforming yourselves to this age, but [are] to continue being transformed by the renewal of your* mind, (See: John 8:31-32) in order for you* to be proving what [is] the good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

(Romans 12:1-2 NWT) . . .Consequently I entreat you by the compassions of God, brothers, to present your bodies a sacrifice living, holy, acceptable to God, a sacred service with YOUR power of reason. (See: John 6:28-29) 2 And quit being fashioned after this system of things, but be transformed by making YOUR mind over, (See: John 8:31-32) that YOU may prove to yourselves the good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

(Romans 12:1-2 GW) . . . (1) Brothers and sisters, in view of all we have just shared about God's compassion, I encourage you to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, dedicated to God and pleasing to him. This kind of worship is appropriate for you. (See: John 6:28-29) (2) Don't become like the people of this world. Instead, change the way you think. (See: John 8:31-32) Then you will always be able to determine what God really wants-what is good, pleasing, and perfect.

(Romans 12:1-2 CEV) . . . Dear friends, God is good. So I beg you to offer your bodies to him as a living sacrifice, pure and pleasing. That's the most sensible way to serve God. (See: John 6:28-29) (2) Don't be like the people of this world, but let God change the way you think (and act). (See: John 8:31-32) Then you will know how to do everything that is good and pleasing to him.

(Romans 12:1-2 LITV) . . . (1) Therefore, brothers, I call on you through the compassions of God to present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, pleasing to God, which is your reasonable service. (See: John 6:28-29) (2) And be not conformed to this age, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, (See: John 8:31-32) in order to prove by you what is the good and pleasing and perfect will of God.

You will note the reference windows often include more than one translation of the Bible. The reason is to strive to gain the best possible understanding of the original Hebrew and Greek. Since we don't speak those languages, we rely on those who have come before and made the effort to translate those texts into English for us. Considering several translations gives the benefit of the understanding of several translation committees or individuals.
The Translations we quote are:

ALT - Analytical Literal Translation

ASV - American Standard Version (by the American revision committee in 1897).

Darby - 1889 Darby Bible

DRB - 1899 Douay-Rheims Bible

BBE - 1965 Bible in Basic English

LITV - Literal Translation of the Holy Bible

KJV - King James Version

MKJV - Modern King James Version

NWT - New World Translation

Webster - 1833 Webster Bible

RV - Revised Version
