Romans 1:14-18 CEV
(14) It doesn't matter if people are civilized and educated, or if they are uncivilized and uneducated. I must tell the good news to everyone. That's why I am eager to visit all of you in Rome.

(16) I am proud of the good news! It is God's powerful way of saving all people who have faith, whether they are Jews or Gentiles.
(17) The good news tells how God accepts everyone who has faith, but only those who have faith. It is just as the Scriptures say, "The people God accepts because of their faith will live."
(18) From heaven God shows how angry he is with all the wicked and evil things that sinful people do to crush the truth.

(14) For I have an obligation to all peoples, to the civilized and to the savage, to the educated and to the ignorant.
(15) So then, I am eager to preach the Good News to you also who live in Rome.
(16) I have complete confidence in the gospel; it is God's power to save all who believe, first the Jews and also the Gentiles.
(17) For the gospel reveals how God puts people right with himself: it is through faith from beginning to end. As the scripture says, "The person who is put right with God through faith shall live."
(18) God's anger is revealed from heaven against all the sin and evil of the people whose evil ways prevent the truth from being known.

(15) so, as much as in me is, I am ready also to you who are in Rome to proclaim good news,

(17) For the righteousness of God in it is revealed from faith to faith, according as it hath been written, `And the righteous one by faith shall live,'
(18) for revealed is the wrath of God from heaven upon all impiety and unrighteousness of men, holding down the truth in unrighteousness.

You will note the reference windows often include more than one translation of the Bible. The reason is to strive to gain the best possible understanding of the original Hebrew and Greek.
