1 Corinthians 8:5-6 CEV (5) Many things in heaven and on earth are called gods and lords, but none of them really are gods or lords. (6) We have only one God, and he is the Father. He created everything, and we live for him. Jesus Christ is our only Lord. Everything was made by him, (Col 1:13‑20) and by him life was given to us (through our faith in Jesus's words). (John 6:63 ; 1 Cor 15:12‑28)
1 Corinthians 8:5-6 GW People may say that there are gods in heaven and on earth-many gods and many lords, as they would call them. (6) But for us, "There is only one God, the Father. Everything came from him, and we live for him. There is only one Lord, Jesus Christ. Everything came into being through him, (Col 1:13‑20) and we live because of him." (John 6:63 ; 1 Cor 15:12‑28)
1 Corinthians 8:5-6 GNB (5) Even if there are so-called "gods," whether in heaven or on earth, and even though there are many of these "gods" and "lords," (6) yet there is for us only one God, the Father, who is the Creator of all things and for whom we live; and there is only one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things were created (at God's instruction - Col 1:13‑20) and through whom (through our faith in him) we live. (John 6:63 ; 1 Cor 15:12‑28)
1 Corinthians 8:5-6 ESV (5) For although there may be so-called gods in heaven or on earth--as indeed there are many "gods" and many "lords"-- (6) yet for us there is one God, the Father, from whom are all things and for whom we exist, and one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom are all things (Col 1:13‑20) and through whom we exist. (John 6:63 ; 1 Cor 15:12‑28)
1 Corinthians 8:5-6 ALT (5) For even if they are called "gods," whether in heaven or on {the} earth (just as there are gods many and lords many), (6) but to us [there is] one God, the Father, of whom [are] all [things], and we [exist] for Him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, through whom [are] all [things], (Col 1:13‑20) and we [exist] through (our faith in) Him. (John 6:63 ; 1 Cor 15:12‑28)

You will note the reference windows often include more than one translation of the Bible. The reason is to strive to gain the best possible understanding of the original Hebrew and Greek. Since we don't speak those languages, we rely on those who have come before and made the effort to translate those texts into English for us. Considering several translations gives the benefit of the understanding of several translation committees or individuals.
