1 Peter 4:4-6 NWT 4 Because YOU do not continue running with them in this course to the same low sink of debauchery, they are puzzled and go on speaking abusively of YOU. 5 But these people will render an account to the one ready to judge those living and those dead. 6 In fact, for this purpose the good news was declared also to the dead, that they might be judged as to the flesh from the standpoint of men but might live as to the spirit from the standpoint of God.

1 Peter 4:4-6 ALT in which they are surprised [by] your not running with [them] into the same excess of reckless living, speaking evil of [you], (5) who will give an account to the One being prepared to judge [the] living and [the] dead. (6) Because for this [reason] the Gospel also was proclaimed to [the] dead, so that they shall be judged, on the one hand according to people in [the] flesh, on the other hand they shall live according to God in [the] spirit.

1 Peter 4:4-6 ASV wherein they think strange that ye run not with them into the same excess of riot, speaking evil of you: (5) who shall give account to him that is ready to judge the living and the dead. (6) For unto this end was the gospel preached even to the dead, that they might be judged indeed according to men in the flesh, but live according to God in the spirit.

1 Peter 4:4-6 GW Unbelievers insult you now because they are surprised that you no longer join them in the same excesses of wild living. (5) They will give an account to the one who is ready to judge the living and the dead. (6) After all, the Good News was told to people like that, although they are now dead. It was told to them so that they could be judged like humans in their earthly lives and live like God in their spiritual lives.

1 Peter 4:4-6 ESV With respect to this they are surprised when you do not join them in the same flood of debauchery, and they malign you; (5) but they will give account to him who is ready to judge the living and the dead. (6) For this is why the gospel was preached even to those who are dead, that though judged in the flesh the way people are, they might live in the spirit the way God does.

You will note the reference windows often include more than one translation of the Bible. The reason is to strive to gain the best possible understanding of the original Hebrew and Greek. Since we don't speak those languages, we rely on those who have come before and made the effort to translate those texts into English for us. Considering several translations gives the benefit of the understanding of several translation committees or individuals.
