1 Timothy 6:17-19 MWT
17 Give orders to those who are rich in the present system of things not to be high-minded, and to rest their hope, not on uncertain riches, but on God, who furnishes us all things richly for our enjoyment; 18 to work at doing good, to be rich in fine works, to be liberal, ready to share, 19 safely treasuring up for themselves a fine foundation for the future, in order that they may get a firm hold on the real life.

1 Timothy 6:17-19 GW
(17) Tell those who have the riches of this world not to be arrogant and not to place their confidence in anything as uncertain as riches. Instead, they should place their confidence in God who richly provides us with everything to enjoy. (18) Tell them to do good, to do a lot of good things, to be generous, and to share. (19) By doing this they store up a treasure for themselves which is a good foundation for the future. In this way they take hold of what life really is.

1 Timothy 6:17-19 CEV
(17) Warn the rich people of this world not to be proud or to trust in wealth that is easily lost. Tell them to have faith in God, who is rich and blesses us with everything we need to enjoy life. (18) Instruct them to do as many good deeds as they can and to help everyone. Remind the rich to be generous and share what they have. (19) This will lay a solid foundation for the future, so that they will know what true life is like.

1 Timothy 6:17-19 ALT
(17) Be giving strict orders to the [ones] rich in the present age to stop being conceited and to stop placing their hope on [or, trusting in] the uncertainty of riches but in the living God, the One giving to us all [things] richly for enjoyment, (18) to be doing good, to be growing rich in good works, [and] to be generous, ready to share, (19) treasuring [or, storing] up for themselves a good foundation for the coming [time], so that they shall take hold of eternal life.

You will note the reference windows often include more than one translation of the Bible. The reason is to strive to gain the best possible understanding of the original Hebrew and Greek. Since we don't speak those languages, we rely on those who have come before and made the effort to translate those texts into English for us. Considering several translations gives the benefit of the understanding of several translation committees or individuals.
