2 Corinthians 5:16-19 GW (16) So from now on we don't think of anyone from a human point of view. If we did think of Christ from a human point of view, we don't anymore. (17) Whoever is a believer in Christ is a new creation. The old way of living has disappeared. A new way of living has come into existence. (18) God has done all this. He has restored our relationship with him through Christ, and has given us this ministry of restoring relationships. (19) In other words, God was using Christ to restore his relationship with humanity. He didn't hold people's faults against them, and he has given us this message of restored relationships to tell others.

2 Corinthians 5:16-19 GNB (16) No longer, then, do we judge anyone by human standards. Even if at one time we judged Christ according to human standards, we no longer do so. (17) Anyone who is joined to Christ is a new being; the old is gone, the new has come. (18) All this is done by God, who through Christ changed us from enemies into his friends and gave us the task of making others his friends also. (19) Our message is that God was making all human beings his friends through Christ. God did not keep an account of their sins, and he has given us the message which tells how he makes them his friends.

2 Corinthians 5:16-19 CEV (16) We are careful not to judge people by what they seem to be, though we once judged Christ in that way. (17) Anyone who belongs to Christ is a new person. The past is forgotten, and everything is new. (18) God has done it all! He sent Christ to make peace between himself and us, and he has given us the work of making peace between himself and others. (19) What we mean is that God was in Christ, offering peace and forgiveness to the people of this world. And he has given us the work of sharing his message about peace.

Even if we have known Christ according to the flesh, certainly we now know him so no more. 17 Consequently if anyone is in union with Christ, he is a new creation; the old things passed away, look! new things have come into existence. 18 But all things are from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of the reconciliation, 19 namely, that God was by means of Christ reconciling a world to himself, not reckoning to them their trespasses, and he committed the word of the reconciliation to us.
