Acts 14:21-22 ESV (21) When they had preached the gospel to that city and had made many disciples, they returned to Lystra and to Iconium and to Antioch, (22) strengthening the souls of the disciples, encouraging them to continue in the faith, and saying that through many tribulations we must enter the kingdom of God.

Acts 14:21-22 ALT (21) And having proclaimed the Gospel to that city and having made many disciples, they returned to Lystra and Iconium and Antioch, (22) strengthening the souls of the disciples, encouraging [them] to be continuing firm in the faith, and [saying], "Through many afflictions it is necessary [for] us to enter into the kingdom of God."

Acts 14:21-22 CEV (21) Paul and Barnabas preached the good news in Derbe and won some people to the Lord. Then they went back to Lystra, Iconium, and Antioch in Pisidia. (22) They encouraged the followers and begged them to remain faithful. They told them, "We have to suffer a lot before we can get into God's kingdom."
