Acts 1:6-7 CEV While the apostles were still with Jesus, they asked him, "Lord, are you now going to give Israel its own king again?" (7) Jesus said to them, "You don't need to know the time of those events that only the Father controls.

Acts 1:6-7 GW So when the apostles came together, they asked him, "Lord, is this the time when you're going to restore the kingdom to Israel?" (7) Jesus told them, "You don't need to know about times or periods that the Father has determined by his own authority.

Acts 1:6-7 BBE So, when they were together, they said to him, Lord, will you at this time give back the kingdom to Israel? (7) And he said to them, It is not for you to have knowledge of the time and the order of events which the Father has kept in his control.

Acts 1:6-7 ESV So when they had come together, they asked him, "Lord, will you at this time restore the kingdom to Israel?" (7) He said to them, "It is not for you to know times or seasons that the Father has fixed by his own authority.
