Acts 5:27-32 ASV
(27) And when they had brought them, they set them before the council. And the high priest asked them,
(28) saying, We strictly charged you not to teach in this name: and behold, ye have filled Jerusalem with your teaching, and intend to bring this man's blood upon us.
(29) But Peter and the apostles answered and said, We must obey God rather than men.
(30) The God of our fathers raised up Jesus, whom ye slew, hanging him on a tree.
(31) Him did God exalt with his right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour, to give repentance to Israel, and remission of sins.
(32) And we are witnesses of these things; and so is the Holy Spirit, whom God hath given to them that obey him.
Acts 5:27-32 CEV
When the apostles were brought before the council, the high priest said to them, (28) "We told you plainly not to teach in the name of Jesus. But look what you have done! You have been teaching all over Jerusalem, and you are trying to blame us for his death." (29) Peter and the apostles replied: We don't obey people. We obey God. (30) You killed Jesus by nailing him to a cross. But the God our ancestors worshiped raised him to life (31) and made him our Leader and Savior. Then God gave him a place at his right side, so that the people of Israel would turn back to him and be forgiven. (32) We are here to tell you about all this, and so is the Holy Spirit, who is God's gift to everyone who obeys God.
Acts 5:27-32 LITV
(27) And bringing them, they stood in the sanhedrin. And the high priest asked them,
(28) saying, Did we not command you by a command that you not teach in this name? And, behold, you have filled Jerusalem with your doctrine and intend to bring on us the blood of this man.
(29) But answering Peter and the apostles said, It is right to obey God rather than man.
(30) The God of our fathers raised up Jesus, whom you seized, hanging Him on a tree.
(31) This One God has exalted as a Ruler and Savior to His right hand, to give to Israel repentance and remission of sins.
(32) And we are His witnesses of these things, and also the Holy Spirit, whom God gave to those obeying Him.
Acts 5:27-32 BBE
(27) And they took them into the Sanhedrin, and the high priest said to them,
(28) We gave you very clear orders not to give teaching in this name: and now Jerusalem is full of your teaching, and you are attempting to make us responsible for this man's death.
(29) But Peter and the Apostles, answering, said, We have to do the orders of God, not of man.
(30) The God of our fathers gave Jesus back to life, whom you had put to death, hanging him on a tree.
(31) Him God has put on high at his right hand, as a Ruler and a Saviour, to give to Israel a change of heart and forgiveness of sins.
(32) And we are witnesses of these things, and so is the Holy Spirit, whom God has given to those who keep his laws.
Acts 5:27-32 NWT 27 So they brought them and stood them in the San´he·drin hall. And the high priest questioned them 28 and said: “We positively ordered YOU not to keep teaching upon the basis of this name, and yet, look! YOU have filled Jerusalem with YOUR teaching, and YOU are determined to bring the blood of this man upon us.” 29 In answer Peter and the [other] apostles said: “We must obey God as ruler rather than men. 30 The God of our forefathers raised up Jesus, whom YOU slew, hanging him upon a stake. 31 God exalted this one as Chief Agent and Savior to his right hand, to give repentance to Israel and forgiveness of sins. 32 And we are witnesses of these matters, and so is the holy spirit, which God has given to those obeying him as ruler.”

You will note the reference windows often include more than one translation of the Bible. The reason is to strive to gain the best possible understanding of the original Hebrew and Greek. Since we don't speak those languages, we rely on those who have come before and made the effort to translate those texts into English for us. Considering several translations gives the benefit of the understanding of several translation committees or individuals.
The Translations we quote are:
ALT - Analytical Literal Translation
ASV - American Standard Version (by the American revision committee in 1897).
Darby - 1889 Darby Bible
DRB - 1899 Douay-Rheims Bible
BBE - 1965 Bible in Basic English
LITV - Literal Translation of the Holy Bible
KJV - King James Version
MKJV - Modern King James Version
NWT - New World Translation
Webster - 1833 Webster Bible
