The LORD (יהוה) will raise up David's fallen tabernacle, rebuild its ruins, and restore Israel to prosperity and security.
Amos 9:11-15 NIV . . ."In that day I will restore David’s fallen shelter— I will repair its broken walls and restore its ruins— and will rebuild it as it used to be, (12) so that they may possess the remnant of Edom and all the nations that bear my name," declares the LORD (יהוה), who will do these things. (13) "The days are coming," declares the LORD (יהוה), "when the reaper will be overtaken by the plowman and the planter by the one treading grapes. New wine will drip from the mountains and flow from all the hills, (14) and I will bring my people Israel back from exile. They will rebuild the ruined cities and live in them. They will plant vineyards and drink their wine; they will make gardens and eat their fruit. (15) I will plant Israel in their own land, never again to be uprooted from the land I have given them," says the LORD (יהוה) your God.
Amos 9:11-15 WEB . . ."In that day I will raise up the tent of David who is fallen, and close up its breaches, and I will raise up its ruins, and I will build it as in the days of old; (12) that they may possess the remnant of Edom, and all the nations who are called by my name," says Yahweh (יהוה) who does this. (13) "Behold, the days come," says Yahweh (יהוה), "that the plowman shall overtake the reaper, and the one treading grapes him who sows seed; and sweet wine will drip from the mountains, and flow from the hills. (14) I will bring my people Israel back from captivity, and they will rebuild the ruined cities, and inhabit them; and they will plant vineyards, and drink wine from them. They shall also make gardens, and eat their fruit. (15) I will plant them on their land, and they will no more be plucked up out of their land which I have given them," says Yahweh (יהוה) your God.
Amos 9:11-15 ESV . . ."In that day I will raise up the booth of David that is fallen and repair its breaches, and raise up its ruins and rebuild it as in the days of old, (12) that they may possess the remnant of Edom and all the nations who are called by my name," declares the LORD (יהוה) who does this. (13) "Behold, the days are coming," declares the LORD (יהוה), "when the plowman shall overtake the reaper and the treader of grapes him who sows the seed; the mountains shall drip sweet wine, and all the hills shall flow with it. (14) I will restore the fortunes of my people Israel, and they shall rebuild the ruined cities and inhabit them; they shall plant vineyards and drink their wine, and they shall make gardens and eat their fruit. (15) I will plant them on their land, and they shall never again be uprooted out of the land that I have given them," says the LORD (יהוה) your God.
Amos 9:11-15 GNB . . .The LORD (יהוה) says, "A day is coming when I will restore the kingdom of David, which is like a house fallen into ruins. I will repair its walls and restore it. I will rebuild it and make it as it was long ago. (12) And so the people of Israel will conquer what is left of the land of Edom and all the nations that were once mine," says the LORD (יהוה), who will cause this to happen. (13) "The days are coming," says the LORD (יהוה), "when grain will grow faster than it can be harvested, and grapes will grow faster than the wine can be made. The mountains will drip with sweet wine, and the hills will flow with it. (14) I will bring my people back to their land. They will rebuild their ruined cities and live there; they will plant vineyards and drink the wine; they will plant gardens and eat what they grow. (15) I will plant my people on the land I gave them, and they will not be pulled up again," says the LORD (יהוה) your God.
Amos 9:11-15 CEV . . .In the future, I will rebuild David's fallen kingdom. I will repair its broken walls and restore its ruins. I will rebuild it and make it as it was long ago. (12) Then Israel will possess what is left of Edom and all the nations that were once mine. I, the LORD (יהוה), have spoken, and I will do this. (13) You will have such a harvest that you won't be able to bring in all of your grain. And in the vineyards, grapes will be trampled faster than wine can be made. The mountains and hills will flow with sweet wine. (14) I'll make Israel prosperous again. They will rebuild their ruined cities and live in them. They will drink wine from their own vineyards and eat the fruit they grow. (15) I'll plant your people in the land I gave them, and they will never again be uprooted," says the LORD (יהוה) your God.

You will note the reference windows often include more than one translation of the Bible. The reason is to strive to gain the best possible understanding of the original Hebrew and Greek. Since we don't speak those languages, we rely on those who have come before and made the effort to translate those texts into English for us. Considering several translations gives the benefit of the understanding of several translation committees or individuals. The Translations we quote are:
