Deuteronomy 8:1-11 GNB ..."Obey faithfully all the laws that I have given you today, so that you may live, increase in number, and occupy the land that the LORD  (יהוה) promised to your ancestors. (2) Remember how the LORD  (יהוה) your God led you on this long journey through the desert these past forty years, sending hardships to test you, so that he might know what you intended to do and whether you would obey his commands. (3) He made you go hungry, and then he gave you manna to eat, food that you and your ancestors had never eaten before. He did this to teach you that you must not depend on bread alone to sustain you, but on everything that the LORD  (יהוה) says. (4) During these forty years your clothes have not worn out, nor have your feet swollen up. (5) Remember that the LORD  (יהוה) your God corrects and punishes you just as parents discipline their children. (6) So then, do as the LORD  (יהוה) has commanded you: live according to his laws and obey him. (7) The LORD  (יהוה) your God is bringing you into a fertile land---a land that has rivers and springs, and underground streams gushing out into the valleys and hills; (8) a land that produces wheat and barley, grapes, figs, pomegranates, olives, and honey. (9) There you will never go hungry or ever be in need. Its rocks have iron in them, and from its hills you can mine copper. (10) You will have all you want to eat, and you will give thanks to the LORD  (יהוה) your God for the fertile land that he has given you. (11) "Make certain that you do not forget the LORD  (יהוה) your God; do not fail to obey any of his laws that I am giving you today.

Deuteronomy 8:1-11 ESV ..."The whole commandment that I command you today you shall be careful to do, that you may live and multiply, and go in and possess the land that the LORD  (יהוה) swore to give to your fathers. (2) And you shall remember the whole way that the LORD  (יהוה) your God has led you these forty years in the wilderness, that he might humble you, testing you to know what was in your heart, whether you would keep his commandments or not. (3) And he humbled you and let you hunger and fed you with manna, which you did not know, nor did your fathers know, that he might make you know that man does not live by bread alone, but man lives by every word that comes from the mouth of the LORD  (יהוה). (4) Your clothing did not wear out on you and your foot did not swell these forty years. (5) Know then in your heart that, as a man disciplines his son, the LORD  (יהוה) your God disciplines you. (6) So you shall keep the commandments of the LORD  (יהוה) your God by walking in his ways and by fearing him. (7) For the LORD  (יהוה) your God is bringing you into a good land, a land of brooks of water, of fountains and springs, flowing out in the valleys and hills, (8) a land of wheat and barley, of vines and fig trees and pomegranates, a land of olive trees and honey, (9) a land in which you will eat bread without scarcity, in which you will lack nothing, a land whose stones are iron, and out of whose hills you can dig copper. (10) And you shall eat and be full, and you shall bless the LORD  (יהוה) your God for the good land he has given you. (11) "Take care lest you forget the LORD  (יהוה) your God by not keeping his commandments and his rules and his statutes, which I command you today,

Deuteronomy 8:1-11 LITV ...You shall take heed to do every commandment which I am commanding you today, so that you may live and may multiply and may go in and possess the land which Jehovah  (יהוה) has sworn to your fathers. (2) And you shall remember all the way which Jehovah  (יהוה) your God has caused you to go these forty years in the wilderness, in order to humble you, to try you, to know that which is in your heart, whether you will keep His commandments or not. (3) And He has humbled you, and caused you to hunger, and caused you to eat the manna, which you had not known, and your fathers had not known, in order to cause you to know that man shall not live by bread alone, but man shall live by every Word that proceeds from the mouth of Jehovah  (יהוה). (4) Your clothing did not wear out on you, and your foot did not swell, these forty years. (5) And you have known with your heart that as a man disciplines his son, Jehovah  (יהוה) your God disciplines you. (6) And you shall keep the commandments of Jehovah  (יהוה) your God, to walk in His ways, and to fear Him. (7) For Jehovah  (יהוה) your God brings you into a good land, a land of streams of water, of fountains and depths that spring out of valleys and hills, (8) a land of wheat and barley and vines and fig trees and pomegranates, a land of olive oil and honey, (9) a land in which you shall eat bread without want; you shall not lack anything in it; a land whose stones are iron; and you shall dig copper out of its mountains. (10) And you shall eat and be satisfied; and you shall bless Jehovah  (יהוה) your God in the good land which He has given you. (11) Take heed to yourself, lest you forget Jehovah  (יהוה) your God so as not to keep His commandments, and His ordinances, and His statutes, which I am commanding you today;

Deuteronomy 8:1-11 GW ...Be careful to obey every command I give you today. Then you will live, and your population will increase. You will enter and take possession of the land that the LORD  (יהוה) promised to your ancestors with an oath. (2) Remember that for 40 years the LORD  (יהוה) your God led you on your journey in the desert. He did this in order to humble you and test you. He wanted to know whether or not you would wholeheartedly obey his commands. (3) So he made you suffer from hunger and then fed you with manna, which neither you nor your ancestors had seen before. He did this to teach you that a person cannot live on bread alone but on every word that the LORD  (יהוה) speaks. (4) Your clothes didn't wear out, and your feet didn't swell these past 40 years. (5) Learn this lesson by heart: The LORD  (יהוה) your God was disciplining you as parents discipline their children. (6) Obey the commands of the LORD  (יהוה) your God. Follow his directions, and fear him. (7) The LORD  (יהוה) your God is bringing you into a good land. It is a land with rivers that don't dry up. There are springs and underground streams flowing through the valleys and hills. (8) The land has wheat and barley, grapevines, fig trees, and pomegranates. The land has honey and olive trees for olive oil. (9) The land will have enough food for you, and you will have everything you need. The land has rocks with iron ore, and you will be able to mine copper ore in the hills. (10) When you have eaten all you want, thank the LORD  (יהוה) your God for the good land he has given you. (11) Be careful that you don't forget the LORD  (יהוה) your God. Don't fail to obey his commands, rules, and laws that I'm giving you today.

Deuteronomy 8:1-11 NWT ...“Every commandment that I am commanding you today YOU should be careful to keep, in order that YOU may continue living and indeed multiply and go in and take possession of the land about which Jehovah  (יהוה) swore to YOUR forefathers. 2 And you must remember all the way that Jehovah  (יהוה) your God made you walk these forty years in the wilderness, in order to humble you, to put you to the test so as to know what was in your heart, as to whether you would keep his commandments or not. 3 So he humbled you and let you go hungry and fed you with the manna, which neither you had known nor your fathers had known; in order to make you know that not by bread alone does man live but by every expression of Jehovah  (יהוה)’s mouth does man live. 4 Your mantle did not wear out upon you, nor did your foot become swollen these forty years. 5 And you well know with your own heart that just as a man corrects his son, Jehovah  (יהוה) your God was correcting you. 6 “And you must keep the commandments of Jehovah  (יהוה) your God by walking in his ways and by fearing him. 7 For Jehovah  (יהוה) your God is bringing you into a good land, a land of torrent valleys of water, springs and watery deeps issuing forth in the valley plain and in the mountainous region, 8 a land of wheat and barley and vines and figs and pomegranates, a land of oil olives and honey, 9 a land in which you will not eat bread with scarcity, in which you will lack nothing, a land the stones of which are iron and out of the mountains of which you will mine copper. 10 “When you have eaten and satisfied yourself, you must also bless Jehovah  (יהוה) your God for the good land that he has given you. 11 Watch out for yourself that you may not forget Jehovah  (יהוה) your God so as not to keep his commandments and his judicial decisions and his statutes that I am commanding you today;

You will note the reference windows often include more than one translation of the Bible. The reason is to strive to gain the best possible understanding of the original Hebrew and Greek. Since we don't speak those languages, we rely on those who have come before and made the effort to translate those texts into English for us. Considering several translations gives the benefit of the understanding of several translation committees or individuals.
