••• You should recognize and know "and use" God's Hebrew Name! It is יהוה and sounds like
to English speakers... God Himself wrote with his own finger on stone tablets He then gave to Moses. (Exo 31:18) Using the Diving Name of our Creator is a uniting force in this divided world! •••
Exodus 11:4-7 ESV ...So Moses said, "Thus says the LORD (יהוה): About midnight I will go out in the midst of Egypt, (5) and every firstborn in the land of Egypt shall die, from the firstborn of Pharaoh who sits on his throne, even to the firstborn of the slave girl who is behind the handmill, and all the firstborn of the cattle. (6) There shall be a great cry throughout all the land of Egypt, such as there has never been, nor ever will be again. (7) But not a dog shall growl against any of the people of Israel, either man or beast, that you may know that the LORD (יהוה) makes a distinction between Egypt and Israel.
Exodus 11:4-7 LITV ...And Moses said, So says Jehovah (יהוה), About the middle of the night I will go out in the midst of Egypt. (5) And every first-born in the land of Egypt shall die, from the first-born of Pharaoh, the one sitting on his throne, to the first-born of the slave-girl who is behind the mill; and every first born of animals. (6) And a great cry shall be in all the land of Egypt, such as never has been, and nothing like it shall be again. (7) And a dog shall not sharpen his tongue against all the sons of Israel, toward man and toward livestock, so that you may know that Jehovah (יהוה) distinguishes between Egypt and Israel.
Exodus 11:4-7 GW ...Moses said, "This is what the LORD (יהוה) says: About midnight I will go out among the Egyptians. (5) Every firstborn son in Egypt will die, from the firstborn of Pharaoh who rules the land, to the firstborn children of female slaves who use their handmills, including every firstborn domestic animal. (6) There will be loud crying throughout Egypt, such as there has never been or ever will be again. (7) But where the Israelites are, not even a dog will be startled by any person or animal. This is how you will see that the LORD (יהוה) shows the distinction between Egypt and Israel.
Exodus 11:4-7 NWT ...And Moses went on to say: “This is what Jehovah (יהוה) has said, ‘About midnight I am going out into the midst of Egypt, 5 and every firstborn in the land of Egypt must die, from the firstborn of Phar´aoh who is sitting on his throne to the firstborn of the maidservant who is at the hand mill and every firstborn of beast. 6 And there will certainly occur a great outcry in all the land of Egypt, the like of which has never yet occurred, and the like of which will never be brought about again. 7 But against any of the sons of Israel will no dog move eagerly its tongue, from man to beast; in order that YOU people may know that Jehovah (יהוה) can make a distinction between the Egyptians and the sons of Israel.’

You will note the reference windows often include more than one translation of the Bible. The reason is to strive to gain the best possible understanding of the original Hebrew and Greek. Since we don't speak those languages, we rely on those who have come before and made the effort to translate those texts into English for us. Considering several translations gives the benefit of the understanding of several translation committees or individuals. The Translations we quote are:
