Ezekiel 37:1-28 CEV ...Some time later, I felt the LORD   ( )'s power take control of me, and his Spirit carried me to a valley full of bones. (2) The LORD  ( ) showed me all around, and everywhere I looked I saw bones that were dried out. (3) He said, "Ezekiel, son of man, can these bones come back to life?" I replied, "LORD  ( ) God, only you can answer that." (4) He then told me to say: Dry bones, listen to what the LORD  ( ) is saying to you, (5) "I, the LORD  ( ) God, will put breath in you, and once again you will live. (6) I will wrap you with muscles and skin and breathe life into you. Then you will know that I am the LORD  ( )." (7) I did what the LORD  ( ) said, but before I finished speaking, I heard a rattling noise. The bones were coming together! (8) I saw muscles and skin cover the bones, but they had no life in them. (9) The LORD  ( ) said: Ezekiel, now say to the wind, "The LORD  ( ) God commands you to blow from every direction and to breathe life into these dead bodies, so they can live again." (10) As soon as I said this, the wind blew among the bodies, and they came back to life! They all stood up, and there were enough to make a large army. (11) The LORD  ( ) said: Ezekiel, the people of Israel are like dead bones. They complain that they are dried up and that they have no hope for the future. (12) So tell them, "I, the LORD  ( ) God, promise to open your graves and set you free. I will bring you back to Israel, (13) and when that happens, you will realize that I am the LORD  ( ). (14) My Spirit will give you breath, and you will live again. I will bring you home, and you will know that I have kept my promise. I, the LORD  ( ), have spoken." (15) The LORD  ( ) said: (16) Ezekiel, son of man, get a stick and write on it, "The kingdom of Judah." Then get another stick and write on it, "The kingdom of Israel." (17) Hold these two sticks end to end, so they look like one stick. (18) And when your people ask you what this means, (19) tell them that I, the LORD  ( ), will join together the stick of Israel and the stick of Judah. I will hold them in my hand, and they will become one. (20) Hold these two sticks where they can be seen by everyone (21) and then say: I, the LORD  ( ) God, will gather the people of Israel and bring them home from the foreign nations where they now live. (22) I will make them into one nation and let them once again live in the land of Israel. Only one king will rule them, and they will never again be divided into two nations. (23) They will no longer worship idols and do things that make them unacceptable to me. I will wash away their sin and make them clean, and I will protect them from everything that makes them unclean. They will be my people, and I will be their God. (24) Their king will always come from the family of my servant King David and will care for them like a shepherd. The people of Israel will faithfully obey my laws. They and their descendants will live in the land I gave my servant Jacob, just as their ancestors did. (25) (SEE 37:24) (26) I solemnly promise to bless the people of Israel with unending peace. I will protect them and let them become a powerful nation. My temple will stand in Israel for all time, (27) and I will live among my people and be their God. (28) Every nation on earth will know that my temple is in Israel and that I have chosen the Israelites to be my people.

Ezekiel 37:1-28 LITV ...The hand of Jehovah  ( ) was on me. And He brought me by the Spirit of Jehovah  ( ) and made me rest in the midst of a valley, and it was full of bones. (2) And He made me pass among them all around. And, behold, very many were on the face of the valley. And, behold! They were very dry. (3) And He said to me, Son of man, can these bones live? And I said, O Lord Jehovah  ( ), You know. (4) And He said to me, Prophesy to these bones and say to them, O dry bones, hear the Word of Jehovah  ( ): (5) So says the Lord Jehovah  ( ) to these bones, Behold, I will cause breath to enter into you, and you shall live, (6) and I will put on you sinews and will bring flesh on you and spread skin over you and put breath in you, and you shall live. And you shall know that I am Jehovah  ( ). (7) So I prophesied as I was commanded. And as I prophesied, there was a noise. And, behold, a shaking! And the bones drew near, a bone to its bone. (8) And I saw. And, behold! The sinews and the flesh came up on them, and the skin spread over them from above. But there was no breath in them. (9) Then He said to me, Prophesy to the Spirit. Prophesy, son of man, and say to the Spirit, So says the Lord Jehovah  ( ): Come from the four winds, O Spirit, and breathe on these slain ones, that they may live. (10) So I prophesied as He commanded me, and the Spirit came into them. And they lived and stood on their feet, a very great army. (11) Then He said to me, Son of man, these bones are all the house of Israel. Behold, they say, Our bones are dried, and our hope is perished; we are cut off to ourselves. (12) So prophesy and say to them, So says the Lord Jehovah  ( ): Behold, I will open your graves and cause you to come up out of your graves, O My people, and I will bring you to the land of Israel. (13) And you shall know that I am Jehovah  ( ) when I have opened your graves and have brought you up out of your graves, O My people. (14) And I shall put My Spirit within you, and you shall live; and I will put you on your own land. And you shall know that I, Jehovah  ( ), have spoken and have done it, says Jehovah  ( ). (15) And the Word of Jehovah  ( ) was to me, (16) saying, And you, son of man, take one stick to yourself and write on it, For Judah, and for his companions, the sons of Israel. And take another stick and write on it, For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim and all the house of Israel, his companions. (17) And draw them one to one for yourself, into one stick. And they shall become one in your hand. (18) And when the sons of your people shall speak to you, saying, Will you not declare to us what these mean to you? (19) Say to them, So says the Lord Jehovah  ( ): Behold, I will take the stick of Joseph which is in the hand of Ephraim, and the tribes of Israel, his companions. And I will put them with him, with the stick of Judah, and I will make them one stick, and they shall be one in My hand. (20) And the sticks shall be in your hand, the ones on which you write before their eyes. (21) And say to them, So says the Lord Jehovah  ( ): Behold, I will take the sons of Israel from among the nations, there where they have gone, and will gather them from all around, and will bring them into their own land. (22) And I will make them one nation in the land, on the mountains of Israel, and one King shall be for a king to all of them. And they shall not be two nations still. And they will not be split into two kingdoms any more. (23) And they will not still be defiled with their idols, even with their filthy idols, nor with all of their transgressions. But I will save them out of all their dwelling places where they have sinned in them, and I will cleanse them. So they shall be for a people to Me and I will be for God to them. (24) And My Servant, David, shall be King over them. And there shall be one Shepherd to all of them. And they shall walk in My judgments and keep My statutes, and do them. (25) And they shall dwell on the land that I have given to my servant, to Jacob, there where your fathers dwelt in it. And they shall dwell on it, they and their sons, and the sons of their sons, forever. And My Servant David shall be a ruler to them forever. (26) And I will cut a covenant of peace with them, an everlasting covenant it shall be with them, And I will place them and multiply them, and I will put My sanctuary in their midst forever. (27) And My tabernacle shall be with them, and I will be their God, and they shall be My people. (28) And when My sanctuary shall be in their midst forever, the nations shall know that I, Jehovah  ( ), sanctify Israel.

Ezekiel 37:1-28 GNB ...I felt the powerful presence of the LORD  ( ), and his spirit took me and set me down in a valley where the ground was covered with bones. (2) He led me all around the valley, and I could see that there were very many bones and that they were very dry. (3) He said to me, "Mortal man, can these bones come back to life?" I replied, "Sovereign LORD  ( ), only you can answer that!" (4) He said, "Prophesy to the bones. Tell these dry bones to listen to the word of the LORD  ( ). (5) Tell them that I, the Sovereign LORD  ( ), am saying to them: I am going to put breath into you and bring you back to life. (6) I will give you sinews and muscles, and cover you with skin. I will put breath into you and bring you back to life. Then you will know that I am the LORD  ( )." (7) So I prophesied as I had been told. While I was speaking, I heard a rattling noise, and the bones began to join together. (8) While I watched, the bones were covered with sinews and muscles, and then with skin. But there was no breath in the bodies. (9) God said to me, "Mortal man, prophesy to the wind. Tell the wind that the Sovereign LORD  ( ) commands it to come from every direction, to breathe into these dead bodies, and to bring them back to life." (10) So I prophesied as I had been told. Breath entered the bodies, and they came to life and stood up. There were enough of them to form an army. (11) God said to me, "Mortal man, the people of Israel are like these bones. They say that they are dried up, without any hope and with no future. (12) So prophesy to my people Israel and tell them that I, the Sovereign LORD  ( ), am going to open their graves. I am going to take them out and bring them back to the land of Israel. (13) When I open the graves where my people are buried and bring them out, they will know that I am the LORD  ( ). (14) I will put my breath in them, bring them back to life, and let them live in their own land. Then they will know that I am the LORD  ( ). I have promised that I would do this---and I will. I, the LORD  ( ), have spoken." (15) The LORD  ( ) spoke to me again. (16) "Mortal man," he said, "take a wooden stick and write on it the words, 'The kingdom of Judah.' Then take another stick and write on it the words, 'The kingdom of Israel.' (17) Then hold the two sticks end to end in your hand so that they look like one stick. (18) When your people ask you to tell them what this means, (19) tell them that I, the Sovereign LORD  ( ), am going to take the stick representing Israel and put it with the one that represents Judah. Out of the two I will make one stick and hold it in my hand. (20) "Hold in your hand the two sticks and let the people see them. (21) Then tell them that I, the Sovereign LORD  ( ), am going to take all my people out of the nations where they have gone, gather them together, and bring them back to their own land. (22) I will unite them into one nation in the land, on the mountains of Israel. They will have one king to rule over them, and they will no longer be divided into two nations or split into two kingdoms. (23) They will not defile themselves with disgusting idols any more or corrupt themselves with sin. I will free them from all the ways in which they sin and betray me. I will purify them; they will be my people, and I will be their God. (24) A king like my servant David will be their king. They will all be united under one ruler and will obey my laws faithfully. (25) They will live on the land I gave to my servant Jacob, the land where their ancestors lived. They will live there forever, and so will their children and all their descendants. A king like my servant David will rule them forever. (26) I will make a covenant with them that guarantees their security forever. I will establish them and increase their population, and will see to it that my Temple stands forever in their land. (27) I will live there with them; I will be their God, and they will be my people. (28) When I place my Temple there to be among them forever, then the nations will know that I, the LORD  ( ), have chosen Israel to be my own people."

You will note the reference windows often include more than one translation of the Bible. The reason is to strive to gain the best possible understanding of the original Hebrew and Greek.
