Galatians 3:23-26 ALT But before faith came, we were being guarded [or, being kept in protective custody] under [the] Law, having been confined to the faith about to be revealed. (24) Therefore, the Law (the Old Testament) has became our tutor [to lead us] to Christ, so that by faith we should be justified [or, declared righteous]. (25) But since faith has come, we are no longer under a tutor. (26) For you are all sons [and daughters] of God by means of faith in Christ Jesus.
Galatians 3:23-26 GW We were kept under control by Moses' laws (the Old Testament) until this faith came. We were under their control until this faith which was about to come would be revealed. (24) Before Christ came, Moses' laws served as our guardian (or tutor). Christ came so that we could receive God's approval by faith. (25) But now that this faith has come, we are no longer under the control of a guardian. (26) You are all God's children by believing in Christ Jesus.
Galatians 3:23-26 ASV But before faith came, we were kept in ward under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed. (24) So that the law is become our tutor to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith. (25) But now that faith is come, we are no longer under a tutor. (26) For ye are all sons of God, through faith, in Christ Jesus.
Galatians 3:23-26 LITV But before the coming of faith, we were guarded under Law, having been locked up to the faith being about to be revealed. (24) So that the Law has become a trainer of us until Christ, that we might be justified by faith. (25) But faith coming, we are no longer under a trainer; (26) for you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus.
Galatians 3:23-26 Darby (23) But before faith came, we were guarded under law, shut up to faith which was about to be revealed. (24) So that the law has been our tutor up to Christ, that we might be justified on the principle of faith. (25) But, faith having come, we are no longer under a tutor; (26) for ye are all God's sons by faith in Christ Jesus.

You will note the reference windows often include more than one translation of the Bible. The reason is to strive to gain the best possible understanding of the original Hebrew and Greek. Since we don't speak those languages, we rely on those who have come before and made the effort to translate those texts into English for us. Considering several translations gives the benefit of the understanding of several translation committees or individuals.
