Galatians 3:23-29 GNB But before the time for faith came, the Law kept us all locked up as prisoners [protected] until this coming faith should be revealed. (24) And so the Law was in charge of us until Christ came [or, the Law has become our tutor to lead us to Christ], in order that we might then be put right with God through faith. (25) Now that the time for faith is here, the Law is no longer in charge of us. (26) It is through faith that all of you are God's children in union with Christ Jesus. (27) You were baptized into union with Christ [by placing faith in him - 1 Pet 3:21], and now you are clothed, so to speak, with the life of Christ himself. (28) So there is no difference between Jews and Gentiles, between slaves and free people, between men and women; you are all one in union with Christ Jesus. (29) If you belong to Christ, then you are the descendants of Abraham and will receive what God has promised.
Galatians 3:23-29 GW We were kept under control by Moses' laws until this faith came. We were under their control until this faith which was about to come would be revealed. (24) Before Christ came, Moses' laws served as our guardian. Christ came so that we could receive God's approval by faith. (25) But now that this faith has come, we are no longer under the control of a guardian. (26) You are all God's children by believing in Christ Jesus. (27) Clearly, all of you who were baptized in Christ's name [by placing faith in him - 1 Pet 3:21] have clothed yourselves with Christ. (28) There are neither Jews nor Greeks, slaves nor free people, males nor females. You are all the same in Christ Jesus. (29) If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham's descendants and heirs, as God promised.
Galatians 3:23-29 ALT But before faith came, we were being guarded [or, being kept in protective custody] under [the] Law, having been confined to the faith about to be revealed. (24) Therefore, the Law has became our tutor [to lead us] to Christ, so that by faith we should be justified [or, declared righteous]. (25) But since faith has come, we are no longer under a tutor. (26) For youp are all sons [and daughters] of God by means of faith in Christ Jesus. (27) For as many as were baptized [or, immersed] into Christ [by placing faith in him - 1 Pet 3:21] put on [or, clothed yourselves with] Christ. (28) There is no Jew nor Greek, there is no slave nor free, there is no male and female, for youp are all one in Christ Jesus. (29) Now since youp [are] Christ's, consequently, youp are seed [fig., descendents] of Abraham and heirs according to promise.
Galatians 3:23-29 ESV Now before faith came, we were held captive under the law, imprisoned until the coming faith would be revealed. (24) So then, the law was our guardian until Christ came, in order that we might be justified by faith. (25) But now that faith has come, we are no longer under a guardian, (26) for in Christ Jesus you are all sons of God, through faith. (27) For as many of you as were baptized into Christ [by placing faith in him - 1 Pet 3:21] have put on Christ. (28) There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is no male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. (29) And if you are Christ's, then you are Abraham's offspring, heirs according to promise.
Galatians 3:23-29 YLT And before the coming of the faith, under law we were being kept, shut up to the faith about to be revealed, (24) so that the law became our child-conductor--to Christ, that by faith we may be declared righteous, (25) and the faith having come, no more under a child-conductor are we, (26) for ye are all sons of God through the faith in Christ Jesus, (27) for as many as to Christ were baptized [by placing faith in him - 1 Pet 3:21] did put on Christ; (28) there is not here Jew or Greek, there is not here servant nor freeman, there is not here male and female, for all ye are one in Christ Jesus; (29) and if ye are of Christ then of Abraham ye are seed, and according to promise--heirs.

You will note the reference windows often include more than one translation of the Bible. The reason is to strive to gain the best possible understanding of the original Hebrew and Greek. Since we don't speak those languages, we rely on those who have come before and made the effort to translate those texts into English for us. Considering several translations gives the benefit of the understanding of several translation committees or individuals.
