Genesis 18:10-14 CEV One of the guests was the LORD  ( יהוה ), and he said, "I'll come back about this time next year, and when I do, Sarah will already have a son." Sarah was behind Abraham, listening at the entrance to the tent. (11) Abraham and Sarah were very old, and Sarah was well past the age for having children. (12) So she laughed and said to herself, "Now that I am worn out and my husband is old, will I really know such happiness?" (13) The LORD  ( יהוה ) asked Abraham, "Why did Sarah laugh? Does she doubt that she can have a child in her old age? (14) I am the LORD  ( יהוה )! There is nothing too difficult for me. I'll come back next year at the time I promised, and Sarah will already have a son."

And Sarah was listening at the entrance to the tent, and it was behind Him. (11) And Abraham and Sarah were aged, going on in days. The custom as to women had ceased to be to Sarah. (12) And Sarah laughed within herself, saying, After my being old, shall there be pleasure to me; my lord also being old? (13) And Jehovah  ( יהוה ) said to Abraham, Why has Sarah laughed at this, saying, Indeed, truly shall I bear, even I who am old? (14) Is anything too difficult for Jehovah  ( יהוה )? At the appointed time I will return to you, at the time of life, and there will be a son to Sarah.

(12) And so Sarah laughed to herself, thinking, "Now that I've become old, will I enjoy myself again? What's more, my husband is old!" (13) The LORD  ( יהוה ) asked Abraham, "Why did Sarah laugh and say, 'Can I really have a child now that I'm old?' (14) Is anything too hard for the LORD  ( יהוה )? I will come back to you next year at this time, and Sarah will have a son."

Genesis 18:10-14 GNB One of them said, "Nine months from now I will come back, and your wife Sarah will have a son." Sarah was behind him, at the door of the tent, listening. (11) Abraham and Sarah were very old, and Sarah had stopped having her monthly periods. (12) So Sarah laughed to herself and said, "Now that I am old and worn out, can I still enjoy sex? And besides, my husband is old too." (13) Then the LORD  ( יהוה ) asked Abraham, "Why did Sarah laugh and say, 'Can I really have a child when I am so old?' (14) Is anything too hard for the LORD  ( יהוה )? As I said, nine months from now I will return, and Sarah will have a son."
