••• You should recognize and know "and use" God's Hebrew Name! It is יהוה and sounds like
to English speakers... God Himself wrote with his own finger on stone tablets He then gave to Moses. (Exo 31:18) Using the Diving Name of our Creator is a uniting force in this divided world! •••
Genesis 19:15-16 CEV . . .Early the next morning the two angels tried to make Lot hurry and leave. They said, "Take your wife and your two daughters and get out of here as fast as you can! If you don't, every one of you will be killed when the LORD [יהוה] destroys the city." (16) At first, Lot just stood there. But the LORD [יהוה] wanted to save him. So the angels took Lot, his wife, and his two daughters by the hand and led them out of the city.
Genesis 19:15-16 LITV . . .And when the dawn rose, then the angels urged Lot, saying, Rise up, take your wife and your two daughters who are found, lest you be cut off in the depravity of the city. (16) And he lingered. And the men lay hold of his hand and his wife's hand, and on the hand of his two daughters, Jehovah [יהוה] having mercy on him. And they caused him to go out, and they put him down outside the city.
Genesis 19:15-16 GNB . . .At dawn the angels tried to make Lot hurry. "Quick!" they said. "Take your wife and your two daughters and get out, so that you will not lose your lives when the city is destroyed." (16) Lot hesitated. The LORD [יהוה], however, had pity on him; so the men took him, his wife, and his two daughters by the hand and led them out of the city.
Genesis 19:15, 16 NWT . . .However, when the dawn ascended, then the angels became urgent with Lot, saying: “Get up! Take your wife and your two daughters who are found here, for fear you may be swept away in the error of the city!” 16 When he kept lingering, then in the compassion of Jehovah [יהוה] upon him, the men seized hold of his hand and of the hand of his wife and of the hands of his two daughters and they proceeded to bring him out and to station him outside the city.

You will note the reference windows often include more than one translation of the Bible. The reason is to strive to gain the best possible understanding of the original Hebrew and Greek. Since we don't speak those languages, we rely on those who have come before and made the effort to translate those texts into English for us. Considering several translations gives the benefit of the understanding of several translation committees or individuals. The Translations we quote are:
