Genesis 19:6-11 LITV And Lot went out to them (the city mob), to the door, and he closed the door behind him. (7) And he said, My brothers, please do not act evilly. (8) Behold, now, I have two daughters who have not known a man; please let me bring them out to you and do to them as you see fit; only do not do a thing to these men, on account of this they came into the shade of my roof. (9) And they said, Stand back! And they said, This one came in to visit, and must he always judge? Now we will do evil to you rather than to them. And they pressed on the man, upon Lot violently, and drew near to break the door. (10) But the men put out their hands and brought Lot in to them, into the house, and shut the door. (11) And they struck the men at the door of the house with blindness, from the small to the great; and they struggled to find the door.
Some suggest Lot was not really willing to give over his daughters, but simply trying to shock the mob back to conscious reason... For now, only God and Lot know!

Let me bring them out to you, and you can do whatever you want with them. But don't do anything to these men; they are guests in my house, and I must protect them." (9) But they said, "Get out of our way, you foreigner! Who are you to tell us what to do? Out of our way, or we will treat you worse than them." They pushed Lot back and moved up to break down the door. (10) But the two men inside reached out, pulled Lot back into the house, and shut the door. (11) Then they struck all the men outside with blindness, so that they couldn't find the door.
Genesis 19:6-11 NWT 6 Finally Lot went out to them to the entrance, but he shut the door behind him. 7 Then he said: “Please, my brothers, do not act badly. 8 Please, here I have two daughters who have never had intercourse with a man. Please, let me bring them out to YOU. Then do to them as is good in YOUR eyes. Only to these men do not do a thing, because that is why they have come under the shadow of my roof.” 9 At this they said: “Stand back there!” And they added: “This lone man came here to reside as an alien and yet he would actually play the judge. Now we are going to do worse to you than to them.” And they came pressing heavily in on the man, on Lot, and were getting near to break in the door. 10 So the men thrust out their hands and brought Lot in to them, into the house, and they shut the door. 11 But they struck with blindness the men who were at the entrance of the house, from the least to the greatest, so that they were wearing themselves out trying to find the entrance.

(8) See now, I have two unmarried daughters; I will send them out to you so that you may do to them whatever seems good to you: only do nothing to these men, for this is why they have come under the shade of my roof. (9) And they said, Give way there. This one man, they said, came here from a strange country, and will he now be our judge? now we will do worse to you than to them; and pushing violently against Lot, they came near to get the door broken in. (10) But the men put out their hands and took Lot into the house to them, shutting the door again. (11) But the men who were outside the door they made blind, all of them, small and great, so that they were tired out with looking for the door.
