Hebrews 2:10-18 CEV
(10) Everything belongs to God, and all things were created by his power. So God did the right thing when he made Jesus perfect by suffering, (Heb 5:8) as Jesus led many of God's children to be saved and to share in his glory. (11) Jesus and the people he makes holy all belong to the same family. That is why he isn't ashamed to call them his brothers and sisters. (12) He even said to God, "I will tell them your name () and sing your praises when they come together to worship." (Psalm 22:22) (13) He also said, "I will trust God." Then he said, "Here I am with the children God has given me." (2 Sam 22:3 of 1-51 [LXX]; Isaiah 8:17 [LXX]) (14) We are people of flesh and blood. That is why Jesus became one of us. He died to destroy the devil, who had power over death. (15) But he also died to rescue all of us who live each day in (sin due to) fear of dying. (16) Jesus clearly did not come to help angels, but he did come to help Abraham's descendants. (Gal 3:26-29) (17) He had to be one of us, so that he could serve God as our merciful and faithful high priest and sacrifice himself for the forgiveness of our sins. (18) And now that Jesus has suffered and was tempted, he can help anyone else who is tempted.

Hebrews 2:10-18 ALT
(10) For it was fitting for Him, because of whom [are] all [things], and through whom [are] all [things], having brought many sons [and daughters] to glory, to make the Originator of their salvation perfect through sufferings. (Heb 5:8) (11) For both the One sanctifying and the ones being sanctified [are] all of one [Father], for which reason He is not ashamed to be calling them brothers [and sisters], (12) saying, "I will proclaim Your name () to my brothers [and sisters]; in [the] midst of [the] assembly I will sing praise to You;" (Psalm 22:22) (13) and again, "I will have put trust in Him;" and again, "Look! I and the young children whom God gave to Me." (2 Sam 22:3 of 1-51 [LXX]; Isaiah 8:17 [LXX]) (14) Therefore, since the young children have shared of flesh and blood (were human), He Himself also likewise shared in the same, so that through (his) death He should destroy [or, render powerless] the one having the power of death, that is, the Devil, (15) and release those, as many as [due to] a fear of death, throughout all their life, were subjects of slavery (to sin). (16) For surely He does not take hold of [fig., give aid to] angels, _but_ He takes hold of [fig., gives aid to] [the] seed of Abraham. (Gal 3:26-29) (17) Therefore, it was necessary [for] Him to become like His brothers [and sisters] in all [respects], so that He should become a merciful and faithful High Priest [in] the [things pertaining] to God, [in order] to make propitiation [or, an eternal appeasing sacrifice] for the sins of the people. (18) For He Himself having been tempted in what He suffered, He is able to help the ones being tempted.

Hebrews 2:10-18 BBE
(10) Because it was right for him, for whom and through whom all things have being, in guiding his sons to glory, to make the captain of their salvation complete through pain. (Heb 5:8) (11) For he who makes holy and those who are made holy are all of one family; and for this reason it is no shame for him to give them the name of brothers, (12) Saying, I will give the knowledge of your name () to my brothers, I will make a song of praise to you before the church. (Psalm 22:22) (13) And again he says, I will put my faith in him. And again, See, I am here, and the children which God has given to me. (2 Sam 22:3 of 1-51 [LXX]; Isaiah 8:17 [LXX]) (14) And because the children are flesh and blood, he took a body himself and became like them; so that by his death he might put an end to him who had the power of death, that is to say, the Evil One; (15) And let those who all their lives were in chains (slaves of sin) because of their fear of death, go free. (16) For, truly, he does not take on the life of angels, but that of the seed of Abraham. (Gal 3:26-29) (17) Because of this it was necessary for him to be made like his brothers in every way, so that he might be a high priest full of mercy and keeping faith in everything to do with God, making offerings for the sins of the people. (18) For having been put to the test himself, he is able to give help to others when they are tested.

Hebrews 2:10-18 NWT
10 For it was fitting for the one for whose sake all things are and through whom all things are, in bringing many sons to glory, to make the Chief Agent of their salvation perfect through sufferings. (Heb 5:8) 11 For both he who is sanctifying and those who are being sanctified all [stem] from one, and for this cause he is not ashamed to call them “brothers,” 12 as he says: “I will declare your name () to my brothers; in the middle of [the] congregation I will praise you with song.” (Psalm 22:22) 13 And again: “I will have my trust in him.” And again: “Look! I and the young children, whom Jehovah gave me.” (2 Sam 22:3 of 1-51 [LXX]; Isaiah 8:17 [LXX]) 14 Therefore, since the "young children" are sharers of blood and flesh, he also similarly partook of the same things, that through his death he might bring to nothing the one having the means to cause death, that is, the Devil; 15 and [that] he might emancipate all those who for fear of death were subject to slavery all through their lives. 16 For he is really not assisting angels at all, but he is assisting Abraham's seed. (Gal 3:26-29) 17 Consequently he was obliged to become like his "brothers" in all respects, that he might become a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, in order to offer propitiatory sacrifice for the sins of the people. 18 For in that he himself has suffered when being put to the test, he is able to come to the aid of those who are being put to the test.

You will note the reference windows often include more than one translation of the Bible. The reason is to strive to gain the best possible understanding of the original Hebrew and Greek. Since we don't speak those languages, we rely on those who have come before and made the effort to translate those texts into English for us. Considering several translations gives the benefit of the understanding of several translation committees or individuals.
The Translations we quote are:
