Isaiah 1:16-20 GW
"Wash yourselves! Become clean! Get your evil deeds out of my sight. Stop doing evil. (17) Learn to do good. Seek justice. Arrest oppressors. Defend orphans. Plead the case of widows." (18) "Come on now, let's discuss this!" says the LORD ( יהוה ). "Though your sins are bright red, they will become as white as snow. Though they are dark red, they will become as white as wool. (19) If you are willing and obedient, you will eat the best from the land. (20) But if you refuse and rebel, you will be destroyed by swords." The LORD ( יהוה ) has spoken.
Isaiah 1:16-20 MKJV
(16) Wash yourselves, make yourselves clean; put away the evil of your doings from before My eyes; cease to do evil;
(17) learn to do good; seek judgment, reprove the oppressor. Judge the orphan, plead for the widow.
(18) Come now, and let us reason together, says Jehovah ( יהוה ); though your sins are as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be like wool.
(19) If you are willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land;
(20) but if you refuse and rebel, you shall be devoured with the sword; for the mouth of Jehovah ( יהוה ) has spoken.
Isaiah 1:16-20 GNB
Wash yourselves clean. Stop all this evil that I see you doing. Yes, stop doing evil (17) and learn to do right. See that justice is done---help those who are oppressed, give orphans their rights, and defend widows." (18) The LORD ( יהוה ) says, "Now, let's settle the matter. You are stained red with sin, but I will wash you as clean as snow. Although your stains are deep red, you will be as white as wool. (19) If you will only obey me, you will eat the good things the land produces. (20) But if you defy me, you are doomed to die. I, the LORD ( יהוה ), have spoken."
Isaiah 1:16-20 LITV
(16) Wash yourselves, purify yourselves. Put away the evil of your doings from My sight; stop doing evil.
(17) Learn to do good, seek justice, straighten the oppressor, judge the orphan, strive for the widow.
(18) Come now and let us reason together, says Jehovah ( יהוה ): Though your sins are as scarlet, they shall be white as snow; though they are red as the crimson, they shall be like wool.
(19) If you are willing and hear, you shall eat the good of the land.
(20) But if you refuse and rebel, you shall be devoured with the sword; for the mouth of Jehovah ( יהוה ) has spoken.
Isaiah 1:16-20 Darby
(16) Wash you, make you clean; put away the evil of your doings from before mine eyes; --cease to do evil,
(17) learn to do well: seek judgment, gladden the oppressed, do justice to the fatherless, plead for the widow.
(18) Come now, let us reason together, saith Jehovah ( יהוה ): though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.
(19) If ye be willing and hearken, ye shall eat the good of the land;
(20) but if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword: for the mouth of Jehovah ( יהוה ) hath spoken.

You will note the reference windows often include more than one translation of the Bible. The reason is to strive to gain the best possible understanding of the original Hebrew and Greek. Since we don't speak those languages, we rely on those who have come before and made the effort to translate those texts into English for us. Considering several translations gives the benefit of the understanding of several translation committees or individuals.
The Translations we quote are:
ALT - Analytical Literal Translation
ASV - American Standard Version (by the American revision committee in 1897).
Darby - 1889 Darby Bible
DRB - 1899 Douay-Rheims Bible
BBE - 1965 Bible in Basic English
LITV - Literal Translation of the Holy Bible
KJV - King James Version
MKJV - Modern King James Version
NWT - New World Translation
