The LORD hosts a lavish feast for all peoples, swallows up death forever, and wipes away every tear.

Isaiah 25:6-9 NIV . . .On this mountain the LORD Almighty will prepare a feast of rich food for all peoples, a banquet of aged wine—the best of meats and the finest of wines. (7) On this mountain he will destroy the shroud that enfolds all peoples, the sheet that covers all nations; (8) he will swallow up death forever. The Sovereign LORD will wipe away the tears from all faces; he will remove his people's disgrace from all the earth. The LORD has spoken. (9) In that day they will say, "Surely this is our God; we trusted in him, and he saved us. This is the LORD, we trusted in him; let us rejoice and be glad in his salvation."

Isaiah 25:6-9 WEB . . .In this mountain, Yahweh of Armies will make all peoples a feast of choice meat, a feast of choice wines, of choice meat full of marrow, of well refined choice wines. (7) He will destroy in this mountain the surface of the covering that covers all peoples, and the veil that is spread over all nations. (8) He has swallowed up death forever! The Lord Yahweh will wipe away tears from off all faces. He will take the reproach of his people away from off all the earth, for Yahweh has spoken it. (9) It shall be said in that day, "Behold, this is our God! We have waited for him, and he will save us! This is Yahweh! We have waited for him. We will be glad and rejoice in his salvation!"

(7) And he will swallow up on this mountain the covering that is cast over all peoples, the veil that is spread over all nations. (8) He will swallow up death forever; and the Lord GOD will wipe away tears from all faces, and the reproach of his people he will take away from all the earth, for the LORD has spoken. (9) It will be said on that day, "Behold, this is our God; we have waited for him, that he might save us. This is the LORD; we have waited for him; let us be glad and rejoice in his salvation."

(7) Here he will suddenly remove the cloud of sorrow that has been hanging over all the nations. (8) The Sovereign LORD will destroy death forever! He will wipe away the tears from everyone's eyes and take away the disgrace his people have suffered throughout the world. The LORD himself has spoken. (9) When it happens, everyone will say, "He is our God! We have put our trust in him, and he has rescued us. He is the LORD! We have put our trust in him, and now we are happy and joyful because he has saved us."

Isaiah 25:6-9 CEV . . .On this mountain the LORD All-Powerful will prepare for all nations a feast of the finest foods and drinks. (7) Here he will wrap up the shroud that has been woven over all nations. (8) The LORD God will destroy death forever! He will wipe away every tear from every face and remove his people's disgrace from all the earth. The LORD has spoken! (9) At that time people will say, "The LORD is our God! We trusted him to save us, and he rescued us. We are glad and celebrate because the LORD saved us."
