Isaiah 40:22-31 NWT
22 There is One who is dwelling above the circle of the earth, the dwellers in which are as grasshoppers, the One who is stretching out the heavens just as a fine gauze, who spreads them out like a tent in which to dwell, 23 the One who is reducing high officials to nothing, who has made the very judges of the earth as a mere unreality. 24 Never yet have they been planted; never yet have they been sown; never yet has their stump taken root in the earth. And one has only to blow upon them and they dry up; and like stubble the windstorm itself will carry them away. 25 "But to whom can you people liken me so that I should be made his equal?" says the Holy One. 26 "Raise your eyes high up and see. Who has created these things? It is the One who is bringing forth the army of them even by number, all of whom he calls even by name. Due to the abundance of dynamic energy, he also being vigorous in power, not one [of them] is missing. 27 "For what reason do you say, O Jacob, and do you speak out, O Israel, 'My way has been concealed from Jehovah (), and justice to me eludes my God himself'? 28 Have you not come to know or have you not heard? Jehovah (), the Creator of the extremities of the earth, is a God to time indefinite. He does not tire out or grow weary. There is no searching out of his understanding. 29 He is giving to the tired one power; and to the one without dynamic energy he makes full might abound. 30 Boys will both tire out and grow weary, and young men themselves will without fail stumble, 31 but those who are hoping in Jehovah () will regain power. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary; they will walk and not tire out."
Isaiah 40:22-31 LITV
(22) He who sits on the circle of the earth, even those living in it are like grasshoppers; He who stretches the heavens like a curtain, and spreads them like a tent to live in;
(23) who gives potentates into nothing. He makes judges of the earth as nothing.
(24) Yea, they shall not be planted; yea, they are not sown; yea, their stem is not taking root in the earth. And He shall also blow on them, and they shall wither, and the tempest shall lift them up like stubble.
(25) To whom then will you compare Me, or am I equaled, says the Holy One?
(26) Lift up your eyes on high and look: Who has created these? Who brings out their host by number? By greatness of vigor, and might of power, He calls them all by names; not one is lacking.
(27) Why will you say, O Jacob, and speak, O Israel; My way is hidden from Jehovah (), and my judgment is passed over by my God?
(28) Have you not known? Have you not heard? Jehovah (), the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth; He is not faint, nor does He grow weary; there is no searching to His understanding.
(29) He gives power to the faint, and to him with no vigor He increases might.
(30) Even youths are faint and fatigued, and young men stumbling shall stumble;
(31) but the ones waiting for Jehovah () shall renew power; they shall go up with wings as the eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not be faint!
Isaiah 40:22-31 CEV
(22) God is the one who rules the whole earth, and we that live here are merely insects. He spread out the heavens like a curtain or an open tent.
(23) God brings down rulers and turns them into nothing.
(24) They are like flowers freshly sprung up and starting to grow. But when God blows on them, they wilt and are carried off like straw in a storm.
(25) The holy God asks, "Who compares with me? Is anyone my equal?"
(26) Look at the evening sky! Who created the stars? Who gave them each a name? Who leads them like an army? The LORD is so powerful that none of the stars are ever missing.
(27) You people of Israel, say, "God pays no attention to us! He doesn't care if we are treated unjustly." But how can you say that?
(28) Don't you know? Haven't you heard? The LORD [ () ] is the eternal God, Creator of the earth. He never gets weary or tired; his wisdom cannot be measured.
(29) The LORD gives strength to those who are weary.
(30) Even young people get tired, then stumble and fall.
(31) But those who trust the LORD will find new strength. They will be strong like eagles soaring upward on wings; they will walk and run without getting tired.
Isaiah 40:22-31 MKJV
(22) It is He who sits on the circle of the earth, and its people are like grasshoppers; who stretches out the heavens like a curtain, and spreads them out like a tent to dwell in;
(23) who brings the rulers to nothing; He makes the judges of the earth as vanity.
(24) Yes, they shall not be planted; yes, they shall not be sown. Yes, their stump shall not take root in the earth. And He shall also blow on them, and they shall wither, and the tempest shall take them away like stubble.
(25) To whom then will you compare Me, or am I equaled? says the Holy One.
(26) Lift up your eyes on high, and behold, who has created these, who brings out their host by number? He calls them all by names by the greatness of His might, for He is strong in power; not one is lacking.
(27) Why do you say, O Jacob, and speak, O Israel, My way is hidden from Jehovah () and my judgment has passed over from my God?
(28) Have you not known? Have you not heard, that the everlasting God, Jehovah (), the Creator of the ends of the earth, does not grow weak nor weary? There is no searching of His understanding.
(29) He gives power to the weary; and to him with no vigor; He increases strength.
(30) Even the young shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall;
(31) but those who wait on Jehovah () shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.

You will note the reference windows often include more than one translation of the Bible. The reason is to strive to gain the best possible understanding of the original Hebrew and Greek. Since we don't speak those languages, we rely on those who have come before and made the effort to translate those texts into English for us. Considering several translations gives the benefit of the understanding of several translation committees or individuals. The Translations we quote are:
ALT - Analytical Literal Translation
ASV - American Standard Version (by the American revision committee in 1897).
Darby - 1889 Darby Bible
DRB - 1899 Douay-Rheims Bible
BBE - 1965 Bible in Basic English
LITV - Literal Translation of the Holy Bible
KJV - King James Version
MKJV - Modern King James Version
NWT - New World Translation
Webster - 1833 Webster Bible
RV - Revised Version
