Isaiah 6:1-9 GNB In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord. He was sitting on his throne, high and exalted, and his robe filled the whole Temple. (2) Around him flaming creatures were standing, each of which had six wings. Each creature covered its face with two wings, and its body with two, and used the other two for flying. (3) They were calling out to each other: "Holy, holy, holy! The LORD  (  יהוה  )  Almighty is holy! His glory fills the world." (4) The sound of their voices made the foundation of the Temple shake, and the Temple itself became filled with smoke. (5) I said, "There is no hope for me! I am doomed because every word that passes my lips is sinful, and I live among a people whose every word is sinful. And yet, with my own eyes I have seen the King, the LORD  (  יהוה  )  Almighty." (6) Then one of the creatures flew down to me, carrying a burning coal that he had taken from the altar with a pair of tongs. (7) He touched my lips with the burning coal and said, "This has touched your lips, and now your guilt is gone, and your sins are forgiven." (8) Then I heard the Lord say, "Whom shall I send? Who will be our messenger?" I answered, "I will go! Send me!" (9) So he told me to go and give the people this message: "No matter how much you listen, you will not understand. No matter how much you look, you will not know what is happening." (In these last days, Christ Jesus has come to help us understand. [Heb 1:1-2; John 18:37])

Isaiah 6:1-9 LITV In the year that King Uzziah died, then I saw the Lord sitting on a throne, high and lifted up. And His train filled the temple. (2) Above it stood the seraphs. Each one had six wings; with two he covered his face; and with two he covered his feet; and with two he flew. (3) And one cried to the other and said, Holy, holy, holy is Jehovah  ( יהוה )  of Hosts; all the earth is full of His glory! (4) And the doorposts shook from the voice of the one who cried; and the house was filled with smoke. (5) Then I said, Woe is me! For I am cut off; for I am a man of unclean lips, and I live amongst a people of unclean lips; for my eyes have seen the King, Jehovah  ( יהוה )  of Hosts. (6) Then one of the seraphs flew to me with a live coal in his hand, snatched with tongs from the altar. (7) And he touched it on my mouth, and said, See, this has touched your lips; and your iniquity is taken away, and your sin is covered. (8) And I heard the voice of Jehovah  ( יהוה )  , saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for Us? Then I said, Behold me. Send me! (9) And He said, Go and say to this people, Hearing you hear, but do not understand; and seeing you see, but do not know. (In these last days, Christ Jesus has come to help us understand. [Heb 1:1-2; John 18:37])

Isaiah 6:1-9 GW In the year King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord sitting on a high and lofty throne. The bottom of his robe filled the temple. (2) Angels were standing above him. Each had six wings: With two they covered their faces, with two they covered their feet, and with two they flew. (3) They called to each other and said, "Holy, holy, holy is the LORD  (  יהוה  )  of Armies! The whole earth is filled with his glory." (4) Their voices shook the foundations of the doorposts, and the temple filled with smoke. (5) So I said, "Oh, no! I'm doomed. Every word that passes through my lips is sinful. I live among people with sinful lips. I have seen the king, the LORD  (  יהוה  )  of Armies!" (6) Then one of the angels flew to me. In his hand was a burning coal that he had taken from the altar with tongs. (7) He touched my mouth with it and said, "This has touched your lips. Your guilt has been taken away, and your sin has been forgiven." (8) Then I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, "Whom will I send? Who will go for us?" I said, "Here I am. Send me!" (9) And he said, "Go and tell these people, 'No matter how closely you listen, you'll never understand. No matter how closely you look, you'll never see.' (In these last days, Christ Jesus has come to help us understand. [Heb 1:1-2; John 18:37])

(4) And the doorposts moved at the voice of the one who cried, and the house was filled with smoke. (5) Then I said, Woe is me! For I am undone; for I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips; for my eyes have seen the King, Jehovah  ( יהוה )  of Hosts. (6) Then one of the seraphs flew to me, having a live coal in his hand, snatched with tongs from the altar. You will note the reference windows often include more than one translation of the Bible. The reason is to strive to gain the best possible understanding of the original Hebrew and Greek. Since we don't speak those languages, we rely on those who have come before and made the effort to translate those texts into English for us. Considering several translations gives the benefit of the understanding of several translation committees or individuals.
