••• You should recognize and know "and use" God's Hebrew Name! It is יהוה and sounds like to English speakers... God Himself wrote with his own finger on stone tablets He then gave to Moses. (Exo 31:18) Using the Diving Name of our Creator is a uniting force in this divided world! •••

Jeremiah 16:17-21 MWT ...For my eyes are on all their ways; they are not hidden from My face; their iniquity is not hidden from My eyes. (18) But first I will doubly repay their iniquity and their sin, because they have polluted my land with the carcasses of their detestable idols, and have filled my inheritance with their abominations and lies." (19) O יהוה, my strength and my stronghold, my refuge in the day of cleansing the earth, (2 Pet 3:10) to you shall the nations come from the ends of the earth and say: "Our fathers have inherited nothing but lies, worthless gods in which there is no profit. (20) Can man make for himself gods? Such are not gods!" (21) "Therefore, behold, I will make them know, at this one time I will make them know my power and my might, and they will each one know that my name is יהוה."

Jeremiah 16:17-21 LITV ...For My eyes are on all their ways; they are not hidden from My face; their iniquity is not hidden from My eyes. (18) And first I will repay double their iniquity and their sin, because they have defiled My land with the bodies of their hateful things. Yea, their hateful idols have filled My inheritance. (19) O Jehovah  (יהוה), my strength and my fortress, and my refuge in the day of affliction, (2 Pet 3:10) the nations shall come to You from the ends of the earth and say, Our fathers have inherited only lies, vanity, and there is no profit in them. (20) Can a man make gods to himself? But they are not gods! (21) And, behold, I will make them know; this time I will cause them to know My hand and My might;and they shall know that My name is Jehovah  (יהוה).

Jeremiah 16:17-21 ESV ...For my eyes are on all their ways. They are not hidden from me, nor is their iniquity concealed from my eyes. (18) But first I will doubly repay their iniquity and their sin, because they have polluted my land with the carcasses of their detestable idols, and have filled my inheritance with their abominations." (19) O LORD  (יהוה), my strength and my stronghold, my refuge in the day of trouble, (2 Pet 3:10) to you shall the nations come from the ends of the earth and say: "Our fathers have inherited nothing but lies, worthless things in which there is no profit. (20) Can man make for himself gods? Such are not gods!" (21) "Therefore, behold, I will make them know, this once I will make them know my power and my might, and they shall know that my name is the LORD  (יהוה)."

Jeremiah 16:17-21 GW ...I see everything that they do. They can't hide anything from me. Their wickedness can't be hidden; I can see it. (18) First, I will have them pay twice as much for their wickedness and their sin, because they have polluted my land. They have filled my property with the lifeless statues of their detestable and disgusting idols." (19) The LORD  (יהוה) is my strength and my fortress, my refuge in times of trouble. (2 Pet 3:10) Nations come to you from the most distant parts of the world and say, "Our ancestors have inherited lies, worthless and unprofitable gods." (20) "People can't make gods for themselves. They aren't really gods. (21) That is what I will teach them. This time I will make my power and my strength known to them. Then they will know that my name is the LORD  (יהוה)."

Jeremiah 16:17-21 GNB ...I see everything they do. Nothing is hidden from me; their sins do not escape my sight. (18) I will make them pay double for their sin and wickedness, because they have defiled my land with idols that are as lifeless as corpses, and have filled it with their false gods." (19) LORD  (יהוה), you are the one who protects me and gives me strength; you help me in times of trouble. (2 Pet 3:10) Nations will come to you from the ends of the earth and say, "Our ancestors had nothing but false gods, nothing but useless idols. (20) Can people make their own gods? No, if they did, those would not really be gods." (21) "So then," says the LORD  (יהוה), "once and for all I will make the nations know my power and my might; they will know that I am the LORD  (יהוה)."

Jeremiah 16:17-21 CEV ...I can see everything you are doing, even if you try to hide your sins from me. (18) I will punish you double for your sins, because you have made my own land disgusting. You have filled it with lifeless idols that remind me of dead bodies. (19) Our LORD  (יהוה), you are the one who gives me strength and protects me like a fortress when I am in trouble. (2 Pet 3:10) People will come to you from distant nations and say, "Our ancestors worshiped false and useless gods, (20) worthless idols made by human hands." (21) Then the LORD  (יהוה) replied, "That's why I will teach them about my power, and they will know that I am the true God."

Jeremiah 16:17-21 NWT ...For my eyes are upon all their ways. They have not been concealed from before me, neither has their error been hid from in front of my eyes. 18 And, first of all, I will repay the full amount of their error and of their sin, on account of their profaning my land. With the corpses of their disgusting things and their detestable things they had filled my inheritance.’” 19 O Jehovah  (יהוה) my strength and my stronghold, and my place for flight in the day of distress, (2 Pet 3:10) to you the nations themselves will come from the ends of the earth, and they will say: “Indeed our forefathers came to possess sheer falsehood, vanity and things in which there was nothing beneficial.” 20 Can earthling man make for himself gods when they are no gods? 21 “Therefore here I am causing them to know; at this one time I shall cause them to know my hand and my mightiness, and they will have to know that my name is Jehovah  (יהוה).”

You will note the reference windows often include more than one translation of the Bible. The reason is to strive to gain the best possible understanding of the original Hebrew and Greek. Since we don't speak those languages, we rely on those who have come before and made the effort to translate those texts into English for us. Considering several translations gives the benefit of the understanding of several translation committees or individuals.
