The LORD  (יהוה) promises to fulfill His word by causing a righteous Branch to spring up for David, ensuring salvation and peace.

Jeremiah 33:14-17 NIV . . ."The days are coming," declares the LORD  (יהוה), "when I will fulfill the good promise I made to the people of Israel and Judah. (15) In those days and at that time I will make a righteous Branch sprout from David’s line; he will do what is just and right in the land. (16) The people of Judah and of Jerusalem will be rescued and will live in safety. The city will be called 'The LORD  (יהוה) Our Salvation.' (17) I, the LORD  (יהוה), promise that there will always be a descendant of David to be king of Israel

(15) In those days and at that time, I will make a branch sprout up that will be righteous. He will rule as king and will do what is right and fair throughout the land. (16) When he is king, the people of Judah will be safe, and Jerusalem will live in peace. The city will be called "The LORD  (יהוה) Who Makes Us Right."
