Job 33:14-19 GNB Although God speaks again and again, no one pays attention to what he says. (15) At night when people are asleep, God speaks in dreams and visions. (16) He makes them listen to what he says, and they are frightened at his warnings. (17) God speaks to make them stop their sinning and to save them from becoming proud. (18) He will not let them be destroyed; he saves them from death itself. (19) God corrects us by sending sickness and filling our bodies with pain.
Job 33:14-19 NWT 14 For God speaks once, And twice—though one does not regard it— 15 In a dream, a vision of the night, When deep sleep falls upon men, During slumbers upon the bed. 16 It is then that he uncovers the ear of men, And on exhortation to them he puts his seal, 17 To turn aside a man from his deed, And that he may cover pride itself from an able-bodied man. 18 He keeps his soul back from the pit And his life from passing away by a missile. 19 And he is actually reproved with pain upon his bed, And the quarreling of his bones is continual.
Job 33:14-19 GW "God speaks in one way, even in two ways without people noticing it: (15) In a dream, a prophetic vision at night, when people fall into a deep sleep, when they sleep on their beds, (16) he opens people's ears and terrifies them with warnings. (17) He warns them to turn away from doing wrong and to stop being arrogant. (18) He keeps their souls from the pit and their lives from crossing the River of Death. (19) In pain on their sickbeds, they are disciplined with endless aching in their bones
Job 33:14-19 ESV For God speaks in one way, and in two, though man does not perceive it. (15) In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falls on men, while they slumber on their beds, (16) then he opens the ears of men and terrifies them with warnings, (17) that he may turn man aside from his deed and conceal pride from a man; (18) he keeps back his soul from the pit, his life from perishing by the sword. (19) "Man is also rebuked with pain on his bed and with continual strife in his bones,
Job 33:14-19 CEV God speaks in different ways, and we don't always recognize his voice. (15) Sometimes in the night, he uses terrifying dreams (16) to give us warnings. (17) God does this to make us turn from sin and pride (18) and to protect us from being swept away to the world of the dead. (19) Sometimes we are punished with a serious illness and aching joints.

You will note the reference windows often include more than one translation of the Bible. The reason is to strive to gain the best possible understanding of the original Hebrew and Greek. Since we don't speak those languages, we rely on those who have come before and made the effort to translate those texts into English for us. Considering several translations gives the benefit of the understanding of several translation committees or individuals.
