John 10:1-15 MWT
(1) "Most surely I say to you, the one not entering through the gate into the fold of the sheep, but climbing in some other way, that one is a thief and a harmful person. (2) "But the one entering through the gate is shepherd of the sheep. (3) "To this one the gatekeeper opens. And the sheep hear his voice, and his own sheep he calls by name, and he leads them out. (4) "And whenever he brings his own sheep out, he goes before them, and his sheep follow him, because they know his voice. (5) "But a stranger they will by no means follow, but they will flee from him, because they do not recognize the voice of strangers." (6) This illustration Jesus spoke to them, but they did not understand what the things meant which he was speaking to them. (7) Therefore, Jesus said again to them, "Most truly I say to you, I am the gate for the sheep! (8) "All who came before as the messiah are thieves and hurtful ones, but the sheep did not hear them. [Acts 5:35-40] (9) "I am the gate. All who come to God through me will be saved, and he will come in and go out and will find pasture. (10) "The thief does not come into the fold except to steal and kill and destroy. I came so that they can have life, and they shall have it abundantly! (11) "I am the good shepherd! The good shepherd lays down his life in behalf of the sheep. (12) "But the hired worker, not being also a shepherd, who is not the owner of the sheep, watches the wolf coming and leaves the sheep and flees, and the wolf seizes them and scatters the sheep. (13) "Now the hired worker flees because he is a hired worker and is not concerned about the sheep. (14) "I am the good shepherd, and I know my own sheep, and my own sheep know me. (15) "Just as the Father knows me, and I know the Father, and I lay down my life in behalf of the sheep.

John 10:1-15 BBE
(1) Truly I say to you, He who does not go through the door into the place where the sheep are kept, but gets in by some other way, is a thief and an outlaw. (2) He who goes in by the door is the keeper of the sheep. (3) The porter lets him in; and the sheep give ear to his voice; he says over the names of the sheep, and takes them out. (4) When he has got them all out, he goes before them, and the sheep go after him, for they have knowledge of his voice. (5) They will not go after another who is not their keeper, but will go from him in flight, because his voice is strange to them. (6) In this Jesus was teaching them in the form of a story: but what he said was not clear to them. (7) So Jesus said again, Truly I say to you, I am the door of the sheep. (8) All who came before me are thieves and outlaws: but the sheep did not give ear to them. [Acts 5:35-40] (9) I am the door: if any man goes in through me he will have salvation, and will go in and go out, and will get food. (10) The thief comes only to take the sheep and to put them to death: he comes for their destruction: I have come so that they may have life and have it in greater measure. (11) I am the good keeper of sheep: the good keeper gives his life for the sheep. (12) He who is a servant, and not the keeper or the owner of the sheep, sees the wolf coming and goes in flight, away from the sheep; and the wolf comes down on them and sends them in all directions: (13) Because he is a servant he has no interest in the sheep. (14) I am the good keeper; I have knowledge of my sheep, and they have knowledge of me, (15) Even as the Father has knowledge of me and I of the Father; and I am giving my life for the sheep.

John 10:1-15 CEV
(1) Jesus said: I tell you for certain that only thieves and robbers climb over the fence instead of going in through the gate to the sheep pen. (2) But the gatekeeper opens the gate for the shepherd, and he goes in through it. The sheep know their shepherd's voice. He calls each of them by name and leads them out. (3) (SEE 10:2) (4) When he has led out all of his sheep, he walks in front of them, and they follow, because they know his voice. (5) The sheep will not follow strangers. They don't recognize a stranger's voice, and they run away. (6) Jesus told the people this story. But they did not understand what he was talking about. (7) Jesus said: I tell you for certain that I am the gate for the sheep. (8) Everyone who came before me was a thief or a robber, and the sheep did not listen to any of them. [Acts 5:35-40] (9) I am the gate. All who come in through me will be saved. Through me they will come and go and find pasture. (10) A thief comes only to rob, kill, and destroy. I came so that everyone would have life, and have it in its fullest. (11) I am the good shepherd, and the good shepherd gives up his life for his sheep. (12) Hired workers are not like the shepherd. They don't own the sheep, and when they see a wolf coming, they run off and leave the sheep. Then the wolf attacks and scatters the flock. (13) Hired workers run away because they don't care about the sheep. (14) I am the good shepherd. I know my sheep, and they know me. (15) Just as the Father knows me, I know the Father, and I give up my life for my sheep.

John 10:1-15 ESV
(1) "Truly, truly, I say to you, he who does not enter the sheepfold by the door but climbs in by another way, that man is a thief and a robber. (2) But he who enters by the door is the shepherd of the sheep. (3) To him the gatekeeper opens. The sheep hear his voice, and he calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. (4) When he has brought out all his own, he goes before them, and the sheep follow him, for they know his voice. (5) A stranger they will not follow, but they will flee from him, for they do not know the voice of strangers." (6) This figure of speech Jesus used with them, but they did not understand what he was saying to them. (7) So Jesus again said to them, "Truly, truly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep. (8) All who came before me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not listen to them. [Acts 5:35-40] (9) I am the door. If anyone enters by me, he will be saved and will go in and out and find pasture. (10) The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly. (11) I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep. (12) He who is a hired hand and not a shepherd, who does not own the sheep, sees the wolf coming and leaves the sheep and flees, and the wolf snatches them and scatters them. (13) He flees because he is a hired hand and cares nothing for the sheep. (14) I am the good shepherd. I know my own and my own know me, (15) just as the Father knows me and I know the Father; and I lay down my life for the sheep.

You will note the reference windows often include more than one translation of the Bible. The reason is to strive to gain the best possible understanding of the original Hebrew and Greek. Since we don't speak those languages, we rely on those who have come before and made the effort to translate those texts into English for us. Considering several translations gives the benefit of the understanding of several translation committees or individuals.
