John 14:15-26 NWT
15 "If YOU love me, YOU will observe my commandments; 16 and I will request the Father and he will give YOU another helper to be with YOU forever, 17 the spirit of the truth, which the world cannot receive, because it neither beholds it nor knows it. You know it, because it remains with you and is in you. 18 I shall not leave you bereaved. I am coming to you. 19 A little longer and the world will behold me no more, but you will behold me, because I live and you will live. 20 In that day you will know that I am in union with my Father and you are in union with me and I am in union with you. 21 He that has my commandments and observes them, that one is he who loves me. In turn he that loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him and will plainly show myself to him." 22 Judas, not Iscariot, said to him: "Lord, what has happened that you intend to show yourself plainly to us and not to the world?" 23 In answer Jesus said to him: "If anyone loves me, he will observe my word, and my Father will love him, and we shall come to him and make our abode with him. 24 He that does not love me does not observe my words; and the word that you are hearing is not mine, but belongs to the Father who sent me. 25 "While remaining with you I have spoken these things to you. 26 But the helper, the holy spirit, which the Father will send in my name, that one will teach you all things and bring back to your minds all the things I told you.
John 14:15-26 BBE
(15) If you have love for me, you will keep my laws.
(16) And I will make prayer to the Father and he will give you another Helper to be with you for ever,
(17) Even the Spirit of true knowledge. That Spirit the world is not able to take to its heart because it sees him not and has no knowledge of him: but you have knowledge of him, because he is ever with you and will be in you.
(18) I will not let you be without a friend: I am coming to you.
(19) A little time longer, and the world will see me no more; but you will see me; and you will be living because I am living.
(20) At that time it will be clear to you that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I in you.
(21) He who has my laws and keeps them, he it is who has love for me: and he who has love for me will be loved by my Father, and I will have love for him and will let myself be seen clearly by him.
(22) Judas not Iscariot said to him, How is it that you will let yourself be seen clearly by us and not by the world?
(23) Jesus said to him in answer, If anyone has love for me, he will keep my words: and he will be dear to my Father; and we will come to him and make our living-place with him.
(24) He who has no love for me does not keep my words; and the word which you are hearing is not my word but the Father's who sent me.
(25) I have said all this to you while I am still with you.
(26) But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will be your teacher in all things and will put you in mind of everything I have said to you.
John 14:15-26 ALT
(15) "If you* are loving Me, keep My commandments.
(16) "And _I_ will ask the Father, and another Counselor [or, Helper] He will give to you*, so that He shall dwell with you* into the age [fig., forever].
(17) "The Spirit of the truth, whom the world is not able to receive, because it does not look upon [or, watch [for]] Him, nor knows Him. But you* know Him, because He dwells with you* and will be in you.*
(18) "I will not leave you* bereaved; I am coming to you*.
(19) "Yet a little while longer and the world no longer looks upon Me. But _you*_ are looking upon Me. Because _I_ live, _you*_ also will live.
(20) "In that day _you*_ will know that I [am] in My Father, and you* in Me, and I in you*.
(21) "The one having My commandments and keeping them, that one is the one loving Me. And the one loving Me will be loved by My Father, and _I_ will love him and will reveal Myself to him."
(22) Judas says to him (not Iscariot), "Lord, and what has happened that You are about to be revealing Yourself to us and not to the world?"
(23) Jesus answered and said to him, "If anyone is loving Me, My word he will keep. And My Father will love him, and We will come to him and will make [Our] dwelling place with him.
(24) "The one not loving Me does not keep My words, and the word which you* hear [or, pay attention to] is not Mine, _but_ of the Father, the One having sent Me.
(25) "These things I have spoken to you*, [while] dwelling with you*.
(26) "But the Counselor [or, Helper], the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, that One will teach you* all [things] and will cause you* to remember all [things] which I said to you*.
John 14:15-26 CEV
(15) Jesus said to his disciples: If you love me, you will do as I command.
(16) Then I will ask the Father to send you the Holy Spirit who will help you and always be with you.
(17) The Spirit will show you what is true. The people of this world cannot accept the Spirit, because they don't see or know him. But you know the Spirit, who is with you and will keep on living in you.
(18) I won't leave you like orphans. I will come back to you.
(19) In a little while the people of this world won't be able to see me, but you will see me. And because I live, you will live.
(20) Then you will know that I am one with the Father. You will know that you are one with me, and I am one with you.
(21) If you love me, you will do what I have said, and my Father will love you. I will also love you and show you what I am like.
(22) The other Judas, not Judas Iscariot, then spoke up and asked, "Lord, what do you mean by saying that you will show us what you are like, but you will not show the people of this world?"
(23) Jesus replied: If anyone loves me, they will obey me. Then my Father will love them, and we will come to them and live in them.
(24) But anyone who doesn't love me, won't obey me. What they have heard me say doesn't really come from me, but from the Father who sent me.
(25) I have told you these things while I am still with you.
(26) But the Holy Spirit will come and help you, because the Father will send the Spirit to take my place. The Spirit will teach you everything and will remind you of what I said while I was with you.

You will note the reference windows often include more than one translation of the Bible. The reason is to strive to gain the best possible understanding of the original Hebrew and Greek. Since we don't speak those languages, we rely on those who have come before and made the effort to translate those texts into English for us. Considering several translations gives the benefit of the understanding of several translation committees or individuals.
The Translations we quote are:
ALT - Analytical Literal Translation
ASV - American Standard Version (by the American revision committee in 1897).
