John 15:11-27 GW I have told you this so that you will be as joyful as I am, and your joy will be complete. (12) Love each other as I have loved you. This is what I'm commanding you to do. (13) The greatest love you can show is to give your life for your friends. (14) You are my friends if you obey my commandments. (15) I don't call you servants anymore, because a servant doesn't know what his master is doing. But I've called you friends because I've made known to you everything that I've heard from my Father. (16) You didn't choose me, but I chose you. (John 6:44) I have appointed you to go, to produce fruit that will last, and to ask the Father in my name to give you whatever you ask for. (17) Love each other. This is what I'm commanding you to do. (18) "If the world hates you, realize that it hated me before it hated you. (19) If you had anything in common with the world, the world would love you as one of its own. But you don't have anything in common with the world. I chose you from the world, and that's why the world hates you. (20) Remember what I told you: 'A servant isn't greater than his master.' If they persecuted me, they will also persecute you. If they did what I said, they will also do what you say. (21) Indeed, they will do all this to you because you are committed to me, since they don't know the one who sent me. (22) If I hadn't come and spoken to them, they wouldn't have any sin. But now they have no excuse for their sin. (23) The person who hates me also hates my Father. (24) If I hadn't done among them what no one else has done, they wouldn't have any sin. But now they have seen and hated both me and my Father. (25) In this way what is written in their Scriptures has come true: 'They hate me for no reason.' (26) "The helper whom I will send to you from the Father will come (the spirit of truth existing in Christ's words - John 6:63). This helper, the Spirit of Truth who comes from the Father, will declare the truth about me. (27) You will declare the truth, too, because you have been with me from the beginning."
John 15:11-27 GNB "I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete. (12) My commandment is this: love one another, just as I love you. (13) The greatest love you can have for your friends is to give your life for them. (14) And you are my friends if you do what I command you. (15) I do not call you servants any longer, because servants do not know what their master is doing. Instead, I call you friends, because I have told you everything I heard from my Father. (16) You did not choose me; I chose you (John 6:44) and appointed you to go and bear much fruit, the kind of fruit that endures. And so the Father will give you whatever you ask of him in my name. (17) This, then, is what I command you: love one another. (18) "If the world hates you, just remember that it has hated me first. (19) If you belonged to the world, then the world would love you as its own. But I chose you from this world, and you do not belong to it; that is why the world hates you. (20) Remember what I told you: 'Slaves are not greater than their master.' If people persecuted me, they will persecute you too; if they obeyed my teaching, they will obey yours too. (21) But they will do all this to you because you are mine; for they do not know the one who sent me. (22) They would not have been guilty of sin if I had not come and spoken to them; as it is, they no longer have any excuse for their sin. (23) Whoever hates me hates my Father also. (24) They would not have been guilty of sin if I had not done among them the things that no one else ever did; as it is, they have seen what I did, and they hate both me and my Father. (25) This, however, was bound to happen so that what is written in their Law may come true: 'They hated me for no reason at all.' (26) "The Helper will come---the Spirit, (the spirit of truth existing in Christ's words - John 6:63) who reveals the truth about God and who comes from the Father. I will send him to you from the Father, and he will speak about me. (27) And you, too, will speak about me , because you have been with me from the very beginning.
John 15:11-27 NWT 11 “These things I have spoken to YOU, that my joy may be in YOU and YOUR joy may be made full. 12 This is my commandment, that YOU love one another just as I have loved YOU. 13 No one has love greater than this, that someone should surrender his soul in behalf of his friends. 14 YOU are my friends if YOU do what I am commanding YOU. 15 I no longer call YOU slaves, because a slave does not know what his master does. But I have called YOU friends, because all the things I have heard from my Father I have made known to YOU. 16 YOU did not choose me, but I chose YOU, (John 6:44) and I appointed YOU to go on and keep bearing fruit and that YOUR fruit should remain; in order that no matter what YOU ask the Father in my name he might give it to YOU. 17 “These things I command YOU, that YOU love one another. 18 If the world hates YOU, YOU know that it has hated me before it hated YOU. 19 If YOU were part of the world, the world would be fond of what is its own. Now because YOU are no part of the world, but I have chosen YOU out of the world, on this account the world hates YOU. 20 Bear in mind the word I said to YOU, A slave is not greater than his master. If they have persecuted me, they will persecute YOU also; if they have observed my word, they will observe YOURS also. 21 But they will do all these things against YOU on account of my name, because they do not know him that sent me. 22 If I had not come and spoken to them, they would have no sin; but now they have no excuse for their sin. 23 He that hates me hates also my Father. 24 If I had not done among them the works that no one else did, they would have no sin; but now they have both seen and hated me as well as my Father. 25 But it is that the word written in their Law may be fulfilled, ‘They hated me without cause.’ 26 When the helper arrives that I will send YOU from the Father, the spirit of the truth (existing in Christ's words - John 6:63), which proceeds from the Father, that one will bear witness about me; 27 and YOU, in turn, are to bear witness, because YOU have been with me from when I began.

You will note the reference windows often include more than one translation of the Bible. The reason is to strive to gain the best possible understanding of the original Hebrew and Greek. Since we don't speak those languages, we rely on those who have come before and made the effort to translate those texts into English for us. Considering several translations gives the benefit of the understanding of several translation committees or individuals.
