John 6:43-63 NWT 43 In answer Jesus said to them: “Stop murmuring among yourselves. 44 No man can come to me unless the Father, who sent me, draws him; [2 Ch 16:9a] and I will resurrect him in the last day. 45 It is written in the Prophets, ‘And they will all be taught by Jehovah.’ [  ] Everyone that has heard from the Father and has learned comes to me. [Isaiah 54:13] 46 Not that any man has seen the Father, except he who is from God; this one has seen the Father. 47 Most truly I say to YOU, He that believes has everlasting life. 48 “I am the bread of life. 49 YOUR forefathers ate the manna in the wilderness and yet died. 50 This is the bread that comes down from heaven, so that anyone may eat of it and not die. 51 I am the living bread that came down from heaven; if anyone eats of this bread he will live forever; and, for a fact, the bread that I shall give is my flesh in behalf of the life of the world.” 52 Therefore the Jews began contending with one another, saying: “How can this man give us his flesh to eat?” 53 Accordingly Jesus said to them: “Most truly I say to YOU, Unless YOU eat the flesh of the Son of man and drink his blood, YOU have no life in yourselves. 54 He that feeds on my flesh and drinks my blood has everlasting life, and I shall resurrect him at the last day; 55 for my flesh is true food, and my blood is true drink. 56 He that feeds on my flesh and drinks my blood remains in union with me, and I in union with him. 57 Just as the living Father sent me forth and I live because of the Father, he also that feeds on me, even that one will live because of me. 58 This is the bread that came down from heaven. It is not as when YOUR forefathers ate and yet died. He that feeds on this bread will live forever.” 59 These things he said as he was teaching in public assembly at Capernaum. 60 Therefore many of his disciples, when they heard this, said: “This speech is shocking; who can listen to it?” 61 But Jesus, knowing in himself that his disciples were murmuring about this, said to them: “Does this stumble YOU? 62 What, therefore, if YOU should behold the Son of man ascending to where he was before? 63 It is the spirit that is life-giving; the flesh is of no use at all. The sayings that I have spoken to YOU are spirit and are life.

John 6:43-63 ALT So Jesus answered and said to them, "Stop grumbling with one another. (44) "No one is able to come to Me unless the Father having sent Me draws [or, drags] him, [2 Ch 16:9a] and I will raise him up in the last day. (45) "It has been written in the prophets, 'And they will all be taught of God.' Therefore, every [one] hearing from the Father and having learned comes to Me. [Isaiah 54:13] (46) "Not that anyone has seen the Father, except the One being from God, He has seen the Father. (47) "Most positively, I say to you, the one believing in Me has eternal life. (48) "I am the bread of life! (49) "Your fathers ate the manna in the wilderness, and they died. (50) "This is the bread which comes down out of heaven, so that anyone shall eat from it and shall not die. (51) "I am the living bread, the One having come down from heaven. If anyone eats from this bread he will live into the age [fig., forever], and indeed the bread which I will give is My flesh, which I will give on behalf of the life of the world." (52) Therefore, the Jews began disputing with one another, saying, "How is this One able to give to us His flesh to eat?" (53) So Jesus said to them, "Most positively, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Humanity and drink His blood, you do not have life in yourselves. (54) "The one eating My flesh and drinking My blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up {in} the last day. (55) "For My flesh truly is food, and My blood truly is drink. (56) "The one eating My flesh and drinking My blood remains in Me, and I in him. (57) "Just as the living Father sent Me, and I live because of the Father, also the one feeding on Me, that one will also live because of Me. (58) "This is the bread having come down out of heaven, not as your fathers ate the manna and died. The one eating this bread will live into the age [fig., forever]!" (59) These things He said in a synagogue, teaching in Capernaum. (60) Therefore, many having heard from His disciples, said, "This word is harsh. Who is able to be hearing it?" (61) But Jesus, knowing in Himself that His disciples are grumbling about this, said to them, "Does this cause you to stumble [fig, offend you]? (62) "Then [what] if you shall be watching the Son of Humanity ascending where He was before? (63) "The Spirit is the One giving life; the flesh does not accomplish [or, benefit] anything. The words which I have spoken to you are spirit and are life!

John 6:43-63 CEV Jesus told them: Stop grumbling! (44) No one can come to me, unless the Father who sent me makes them want to come. [2 Ch 16:9a] But if they do come, I will raise them to life on the last day. (45) One of the prophets wrote, "God will teach all of them." And so everyone who listens to the Father and learns from him will come to me. [Isaiah 54:13] (46) The only one who has seen the Father is the one who has come from him. No one else has ever seen the Father. (47) I tell you for certain that everyone who has faith in me has eternal life. (48) I am the bread that gives life! (49) Your ancestors ate manna in the desert, and later they died. (50) But the bread from heaven has come down, so that no one who eats it will ever die. (51) I am that bread from heaven! Everyone who eats it will live forever. My flesh is the life-giving bread that I give to the people of this world. (52) They started arguing with each other and asked, "How can he give us his flesh to eat?" (53) Jesus answered: I tell you for certain that you won't live unless you eat the flesh and drink the blood of the Son of Man. (54) But if you do eat my flesh and drink my blood, you will have eternal life, and I will raise you to life on the last day. (55) My flesh is the true food, and my blood is the true drink. (56) If you eat my flesh and drink my blood, you are one with me, and I am one with you. (57) The living Father sent me, and I have life because of him. Now everyone who eats my flesh will live because of me. (58) The bread that comes down from heaven isn't like what your ancestors ate. They died, but whoever eats this bread will live forever. (59) Jesus was teaching in a Jewish place of worship in Capernaum when he said these things. (60) Many of Jesus' disciples heard him and said, "This is too hard for anyone to understand." (61) Jesus knew that his disciples were grumbling. So he asked, "Does this bother you? (62) What if you should see the Son of Man go up to heaven where he came from? (63) The Spirit is the one who gives life! Human strength can do nothing. The words that I have spoken to you are from that life-giving Spirit (and give life).

You will note the reference windows often include more than one translation of the Bible. The reason is to strive to gain the best possible understanding of the original Hebrew and Greek. Since we don't speak those languages, we rely on those who have come before and made the effort to translate those texts into English for us. Considering several translations gives the benefit of the understanding of several translation committees or individuals.
