Luke 10:38-42 GNB
As Jesus and his disciples went on their way, he came to a village where a woman named Martha welcomed him in her home. (39) She had a sister named Mary, who sat down at the feet of the Lord and listened to his teaching. (40) Martha was upset over all the work she had to do, so she came and said, "Lord, don't you care that my sister has left me to do all the work by myself ? Tell her to come and help me!" (41) The Lord answered her, "Martha, Martha! You are worried and troubled over so many things, (42) but just one is needed. Mary has chosen the right thing, and it will not be taken away from her."
Luke 10:38-42 ALT
(38) Now it happened, as they [were] going, that _He_ entered into a certain village. Then a certain woman, by name Martha, welcomed Him into her house.
(39) And to this [woman] was a sister [fig., she had a sister] being called Mary, who also having seated herself beside the feet of Jesus, was listening to His word.
(40) But Martha was being distracted about much service, and coming up, she said, "Lord, _You_ are concerned that my sister has been leaving me alone to be serving, are You not? Then tell her, that she should help along with me."
(41) But answering, Jesus said to her, "Martha, Martha, you are anxious and disquieted about many [things],
(42) but of one [thing] there is need. But Mary chose the good part, which will not be taken away from her."
Luke 10:38-42 BBE
(38) Now, while they were on their way, he came to a certain town; and a woman named Martha took him into her house.
(39) And she had a sister, by name Mary, who took her seat at the Lord's feet and gave attention to his words.
(40) But Martha had her hands full of the work of the house, and she came to him and said, Lord, is it nothing to you that my sister has let me do all the work? Say to her that she is to give me some help.
(41) But the Lord, answering, said to her, Martha, Martha, you are full of care and troubled about such a number of things:
(42) Little is needed, or even one thing only: for Mary has taken that good part, which will not be taken away from her.

You will note the reference windows often include more than one translation of the Bible. The reason is to strive to gain the best possible understanding of the original Hebrew and Greek. Since we don't speak those languages, we rely on those who have come before and made the effort to translate those texts into English for us. Considering several translations gives the benefit of the understanding of several translation committees or individuals.
The Translations we quote are:
