Luke 21:7-11 GW The disciples asked him, "Teacher, when will this happen? What will be the sign when all this will occur?" (8) Jesus said, "Be careful that you are not deceived. Many will come using my name. They will say, 'I am he!' and 'The time is near.' Don't follow them! (9) "When you hear of wars and revolutions, don't be terrified! These things must happen first, but the end will not come immediately." (10) Then Jesus continued, "Nation will fight against nation and kingdom against kingdom. (11) There will be terrible earthquakes, famines, and dreadful diseases in various places. Terrifying sights and miraculous signs will come from the sky.
Luke 21:25-28 GW "Miraculous signs will occur in the sun, moon, and stars. The nations of the earth will be deeply troubled and confused because of the roaring and tossing of the sea. (26) People will faint as they fearfully wait for what will happen to the world. Indeed, the powers of the universe will be shaken. (27) "Then people will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. (28) "When these things begin to happen, stand with confidence! The time when you will be set free is near."
Luke 21:31 GW In the same way, when you see these things happen, you know that the kingdom of God is near. [Dan 2:44]

Luke 21:7-11 ESV And they asked him, "Teacher, when will these things be, and what will be the sign when these things are about to take place?" (8) And he said, "See that you are not led astray. For many will come in my name, saying, 'I am he!' and, 'The time is at hand!' Do not go after them. (9) And when you hear of wars and tumults, do not be terrified, for these things must first take place, but the end will not be at once." (10) Then he said to them, "Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. (11) There will be great earthquakes, and in various places famines and pestilences. And there will be terrors and great signs from heaven.
Luke 21:25-28 ESV "And there will be signs in sun and moon and stars, and on the earth distress of nations in perplexity because of the roaring of the sea and the waves, (26) people fainting with fear and with foreboding of what is coming on the world. For the powers of the heavens will be shaken. (27) And then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. (28) Now when these things begin to take place, straighten up and raise your heads, because your redemption is drawing near."
Luke 21:31 ESV So also, when you see these things taking place, you know that the kingdom of God is near. [Dan 2:44]

Luke 21:7-11 GNB "Teacher," they asked, "when will this be? And what will happen in order to show that the time has come for it to take place?" (8) Jesus said, "Watch out; don't be fooled. Many men, claiming to speak for me, will come and say, 'I am he!' and, 'The time has come!' But don't follow them. (9) Don't be afraid when you hear of wars and revolutions; such things must happen first, but they do not mean that the end is near." (10) He went on to say, "Countries will fight each other; kingdoms will attack one another. (11) There will be terrible earthquakes, famines, and plagues everywhere; there will be strange and terrifying things coming from the sky.
Luke 21:25-28 GNB "There will be strange things happening to the sun, the moon, and the stars. On earth whole countries will be in despair, afraid of the roar of the sea and the raging tides. (26) People will faint from fear as they wait for what is coming over the whole earth, for the powers in space will be driven from their courses. (27) Then the Son of Man will appear, coming in a cloud with great power and glory. (28) When these things begin to happen, stand up and raise your heads, because your salvation is near."
Luke 21:31 GNB In the same way, when you see these things happening, you will know that the Kingdom of God is about to come. [Dan 2:44]

You will note the reference windows often include more than one translation of the Bible. The reason is to strive to gain the best possible understanding of the original Hebrew and Greek. Since we don't speak those languages, we rely on those who have come before and made the effort to translate those texts into English for us. Considering several translations gives the benefit of the understanding of several translation committees or individuals.
