Luke 4:31-37 GNB ...Then Jesus went to Capernaum, a town in Galilee, where he taught the people on the Sabbath. (32) They were all amazed at the way he taught, because he spoke with authority. (33) In the synagogue was a man who had the spirit of an evil demon in him; he screamed out in a loud voice, (34) "Ah! What do you want with us, Jesus of Nazareth? Are you here to destroy us? I know who you are: you are God's holy messenger!" (35) Jesus ordered the spirit, "Be quiet and come out of the man!" The demon threw the man down in front of them and went out of him without doing him any harm. (36) The people were all amazed and said to one another, "What kind of words are these? With authority and power this man gives orders to the evil spirits, and they come out!" (37) And the report about Jesus spread everywhere in that region.

Luke 4:31-37 ESV ...And he went down to Capernaum, a city of Galilee. And he was teaching them on the Sabbath, (32) and they were astonished at his teaching, for his word possessed authority. (33) And in the synagogue there was a man who had the spirit of an unclean demon, and he cried out with a loud voice, (34) "Ha! What have you to do with us, Jesus of Nazareth? Have you come to destroy us? I know who you are--the Holy One of God." (35) But Jesus rebuked him, saying, "Be silent and come out of him!" And when the demon had thrown him down in their midst, he came out of him, having done him no harm. (36) And they were all amazed and said to one another, "What is this word? For with authority and power he commands the unclean spirits, and they come out!" (37) And reports about him went out into every place in the surrounding region.

I know who you are-the Holy One of God!" (35) Jesus ordered the spirit, "Keep quiet, and come out of him!" The demon threw the man down in the middle of the synagogue and came out without hurting him. (36) Everyone was stunned. They said to one another, "What kind of command is this? With authority and power he gives orders to evil spirits, and they come out." (37) So news about him spread to every place throughout the surrounding region.

You will note the reference windows often include more than one translation of the Bible. The reason is to strive to gain the best possible understanding of the original Hebrew and Greek. Since we don't speak those languages, we rely on those who have come before and made the effort to translate those texts into English for us. Considering several translations gives the benefit of the understanding of several translation committees or individuals.
