Luke 5:12-16 ESV ...While he was in one of the cities, there came a man full of leprosy. And when he saw Jesus, he fell on his face and begged him, "Lord, if you will, you can make me clean." (13) And Jesus stretched out his hand and touched him, saying, "I will; be clean." And immediately the leprosy left him. (14) And he charged him to tell no one, but "go and show yourself to the priest, and make an offering for your cleansing, as Moses commanded, for a proof to them." (15) But now even more the report about him went abroad, and great crowds gathered to hear him and to be healed of their infirmities. (16) But he would withdraw to desolate places and pray.

Luke 5:12-16 CEV ...Jesus came to a town where there was a man who had leprosy. When the man saw Jesus, he knelt down to the ground in front of Jesus and begged, "Lord, you have the power to make me well, if only you wanted to." (13) Jesus put his hand on him and said, "I want to! Now you are well." At once the man's leprosy disappeared. (14) Jesus told him, "Don't tell anyone about this, but go and show yourself to the priest. Offer a gift to the priest, just as Moses commanded, and everyone will know that you have been healed." (15) News about Jesus kept spreading. Large crowds came to listen to him teach and to be healed of their diseases. (16) But Jesus would often go to some place where he could be alone and pray.

(13) And having stretched out His hand, He took hold of him, having said, "I am willing. Be cleansed!" And immediately the leprosy [or, skin disease] went away from him! (14) And He gave strict orders to him to tell no one, "But having gone away, show yourself to the priest and bring as an offering for your cleansing [or, purification] just as Moses directed, for a testimony to them." (15) But all the more the report was going about [fig., spreading] concerning Him, and large crowds were gathering to be hearing [Him] and to be healed by Him of their sicknesses. (16) But He would [often] withdraw into the desert places and [would] be praying.

(13) And he put out his hand to him and said, It is my pleasure; be clean. And straight away his disease went from him. (14) And he gave him orders: Say nothing to any man, but let the priest see you and give an offering so that you may be made clean, as the law of Moses says, and for a witness to them. (15) But news of him went out all the more, in every direction, and great numbers of people came together to give hearing to his words and to be made well from their diseases. (16) But he went away by himself to a waste place for prayer.

You will note the reference windows often include more than one translation of the Bible. The reason is to strive to gain the best possible understanding of the original Hebrew and Greek. Since we don't speak those languages, we rely on those who have come before and made the effort to translate those texts into English for us. Considering several translations gives the benefit of the understanding of several translation committees or individuals.
