Mark 11:15-18 CEV (15) After Jesus and his disciples reached Jerusalem, he went into the temple and began chasing out everyone who was selling and buying. He turned over the tables of the moneychangers and the benches of those who were selling doves. (16) Jesus would not let anyone carry things through the temple. (17) Then he taught the people and said, "The Scriptures say, 'My house should be called a place of worship for all nations.' But you have made it a place where robbers hide!" (18) The chief priests and the teachers of the Law of Moses heard what Jesus said, and they started looking for a way to kill him. They were afraid of him, because the crowds were completely amazed at his teaching. [Isaiah_56:7 ; Jer_7:11]

He overturned the moneychangers' tables and the chairs of those who sold pigeons. (16) He would not let anyone carry anything across the temple courtyard. (17) Then he taught them by saying, "Scripture says, 'My house will be called a house of prayer for all nations,' but you have turned it into a gathering place for thieves." (18) When the chief priests and scribes heard him, they looked for a way to kill him. They were afraid of him because he amazed all the crowds with his teaching. [Isaiah_56:7 ; Jer_7:11]

Mark 11:15-17 ALT (15) And they come into Jerusalem. Then Jesus having gone into the temple, He began to be casting out the ones selling and buying in the temple. And He overturned the tables of the money-changers and the seats of the ones selling the doves. (16) And He was not allowing that anyone should carry merchandise through the temple. (17) Then He began teaching [them], saying to them, "Has it not been written, 'My house will be called a house of prayer for all the nations?' But youp made it a 'hideout for robbers!'" [Isaiah_56:7 ; Jer_7:11]

But you have made it a cave of robbers." 18 And the chief priests and the scribes heard it, and they began to seek how to destroy him; for they were in fear of him, for all the crowd was continually being astounded at his teaching. [Isaiah_56:7 ; Jer_7:11]
